my family
Find a grave #45417700 Jackson Lacy just found this and it broke my heart. This is my cousin both my aunt and uncle are no longer living. It is so sad cause he gave so much in his life, that no one knew this was on here to be able to leave a nice memorial. Jackson was nick name Jackie and one of my most favorite of cousins. His parents were Jasper and Wildred Lacy from Bolivar, Mo he had a younger sister name Pamela Jean Lacy. I realize cousins are not a requirement for transfer of memorial but if you could add his family to the memorial it would be so deeply appreciated. The pictures are wonderful Thank you.Debora

Memorial #47840656

Mr. Henry Bradley is buried in Unity Grove CME Cemetery in Palmetto - Pickens County AL. - Not in Unity Grove Methodist Cemetery. Would you please do a burial edit and place his memorial there?

Thanks for your help in correcting this error.

Claiborne Lightfoot Mystery
Dear Larry:
I believe that Claiborne Lightfoot and Elizabeth Betsy Wray are my 4th Great Grandparents. (other Lightfoot ancestors are William M (son of Claiborne), Sydney, James Briggs, Bird Asbury, and Oleita Lightfoot, my mom).

Information on Betsy Wray's Find A Grave Memorial (#28176495) states "Elizabeth was the daughter of John Wray, Jr. of Virginia and Martha Jarratt. She married Claiborne Lightfoot, in Brunswick Virginia, on 24 Nov 1786. They lived their lives in Kentucky until their deaths."

I am researching Claiborne Lightfoot and his parents. Do you have any sources that indicate the above quote is true? The current Find A Grave manager, added the quote, but doesn't remember the source. I cannot find any firm evidence that Claiborne Lightfoot ever lived in Kentucky. Nor can I find any information on where he may be buried. Based on where his kids were born/died, I think the family moved from Virginia to Hawkins Co.,Tennessee around 1800 before eventually arriving in Kentucky. I also think Claiborne may have died in Tennessee or Simpson County, KY.

So far my gut feel is that Claiborne was the son of John Lightfoot Sr and Elizabeth Claiborne. For your reference, my Ancestry tree is called CJ-PJ Gunterman Family. I've also done Ancestry DNA and it is public under rjgunterman or Raymond Gunterman.

Anything you know about Claiborne would be appreciated. This is a fascinating mystery!

Henretta Walters Rains
In 2010 you created a memorial for Henretta Walters Rains. Someone (maybe you?) linked her to my great-grandfather, James Volney Walters' memorial. Are you related to Henretta ?? For many years, I have been looking for the daughter of James V. Walters and his first wife, Mary Ann Cole, but under the first name "Dealpha" as noted in the 1860 census. If you have more information to help clear up some of my questions, I'd love to hear from you.

Cyntha Anna (Roberts) Bunch
I am working on a federal probate for Mary Dorothea (Roberts) Brayman Winberg for the White Earth Tribe in MN. She inherited an estate thru Roger Winberg and he inherited through his mother. I need info on Dorothea's family. I am working on her paternal side and see that she had no siblings but she had (1) aunt, Cynthia (Roberts) Bunch; sister of Dorothea's father James Zachariah Roberts; parents: James Newton & Mary Elizabeth (Fergus) Roberts. Can you please help me? I am wondering if Ralph E. Bunch (son of Cynthia) was ever married and children? Also, Mary E. (Bunch) Stinson; states that she had (2) children; no info on her spouse of who her children were. Please contact me, Beverly Smith, Probate Technician, toll-free: (888) 760-6222 ext. 1437 or via email. M-F 7:00-3:30pm is my schedule. Any assistance you can help me with would be very much appreciated.

FAG #16391552 Martin Hosley
Good evening
Martin Hosley was a Native Son of Vermont, being born there in 1818, and was credited to that state for his Civil War service with the Pa RFLS.
I would like to ask you if I may use the photo that you contributed to his Find A Grave Memorial, to post on the Vermont Civil War site? (
You would receive credit for this.
Thank you for your consideration.
