I volunteered at my church in Pastoral Care for 5 years. This was something that I was so happy to be involved in..it was filling a need that I had to be connected after relatives deaths and also I feel that I was able to help others. I have learned so many lessons about how death and illness affects the lives of everyone's loved ones and how much it helps to have a way to reach out. I still love volunteering but now in different things in the church rather than the office work.|
I found this site while looking for famous people. I didn't know at first that I could add loved ones. I feel it is a wonderful tribute to their memories. Many times we only remember the good things and I don't feel it is important to dwell on the past. We have to forgive things in each ones past in order to be forgiven ourselves.
In reading others memorials and obits, I am retreiving memories that were lost in this aging mind..some tearful but mostly joyful. THANK YOU CONTRIBUTORS.
I have had many hobbies at different times in my life, but my relationship with God & family has always been top priority in my life.
If you see errors or are disappointed with a memorial that I have left please E-MAIL me with all the corrected information be SURE and reference F.A.G in the subject line or the e-mail may be taken as spam. I will gladly correct or delete as you desire. If it is your family member I will gladly turn control over to you so you can make it more personal. If it is also a family member of mine I desire to keep on my site even if there is a duplication. I know there may be things that I know that are important for future generations. It is not my desire to offend anyone, only to honor with respect.
I think every memorial should have flowers on it especially babies and servicemen and women.
THANK YOU FOR LEAVING MEMORIALS FOR MY FAMILY MEMBERS.
Please click on the above picture and read about the example in life that I had.

I just noticed that a new crypt was built in Elm Grove Cemetery with Carl and Ruth Sawyer listed there. I can only assume , at this point, that this was erected after Carl was placed in the mausoleum in the Fairfield Cemetery. So now the place of burial needs to be moved to Elm Grove Cemetery. Note the photo on the memorial entry.

You've done a great job memorializing your dad.
I worked with him 15 years at I&M. He was a fine man and gentleman. You might add that he and Lil built and operated the Dari Boat in Lawrenceburg. Lil also operated the cafeteria at I&M for several years.

I love this.

The parents he is linked to is not correct. The obit states Helen Reed Eubank mother and Horace Eubank step father. He is also born in Pitcher OK.
Helen Eubank 12 Feb 1910- Sept 1981 Anderson Madison Indiana. I have no idea who the father is
