If sending obits, condense them and make them very short as I do not add long funeral home obits. I only add place of birth and death, immediate family survivors, deceased immediate family members, military service, some education and some work and place of worship. I omit info on where survivors live, I omit survivors out of immediate family, all funeral services, except place of burial.

***If you want something, ask politely, most of the time I will give them freely, but do not send me harsh messages demanding stuff. You are not the only one on f-a-g that wants access to members in your family, and don't accuse me of holding family members hostage, I do not owe you anything, I have did the work, I have went to the cemetery and I have took the photos at my own expense and time, you have not and also, lots of these good folks are related to me or ex-wife, which means they are related to my kids. So be kind, it helps a whole lot. I have no way of actually knowing if they are related to you. F-A-G needs to put a block on here so we do not have to deal with people who want everything for nothing and are not nice about it***

All Obits sent will be condensed and shortened., I am not a big fan of obits on f-a-g, but I will add them, but I shorten them with mostly vital facts & info. If not happy with this, do not send edits with obit.
PLEASE DO NOT ADD DEATH RECORDS TO MY MEMORIALS.
Some of these contain family sensitive info.
I would like to ask not to send edits for first name changes on memorials, I will add it in the bio. The name on the stone is what the person usually went by.
I would also like to ask the contributors adding death certificates, etc on my memorials as photos to please stop and I would also like to ask for ones already added to be removed. Sure, some have good vital info, but some also contain things not always suitable to put on F-A-G. Please respect my wishes as I respect your memorials. I will be glad to add any info that is vital to the person and you can send edits for most of it, thank you all in advance, Larry.

The one thing I take pride in is that close to 99% of all my memorials are ones that I have personally been to the gravesite & have photographed the memorial myself, there is no guess work, eliminates anyone put in the wrong cemetery, I know for a fact they are there.

I also have been asked several times by other contributors if they could use my pics on their ancestory.com and personal sites. Yes, feel free to do so. I am glad I can fill holes in some unfilled spaces.
I do ask not to use my pics on f-a-g without permission, which has been done a several times. I will say yes, but give me the courtesy of asking, thanks.
