Shortly after the Moravian Church in the small town of Aurelia, ND. closed in the early 70's, an association was formed to look after the cemetery.|
It was renamed the Aurelia Community Cemetery. I was elected to the board a few years later when one of the original members died. About ten years ago I helped my sister work on our family tree and now when I found Find A Grave, I realized how helpful it could have been.
This information was mostly taken from the tombstones at cemeteries I have visited, with some added from our family tree and ND death index files. I also get information from the Mouse River Loop Genealogy Society, of which I am a member.Most of these cemeteries are located in northwestern North Dakota.
With over 75,000 names in about 675 cemeteries, I'm sure I have made some mistakes. If anyone finds any errors or has more information let me know.I have photos (about 60,000) of the markers of most of the graves added in the last few years. I do not have time to add all these pictures but if someone requests one I will gladly add it if I have one. Please put Find A Grave in subject line.
Most of the obituaries I have added are from local funeral homes or old newspapers with their permission. All pictures that I have added were taken by me personally.

thank you for all the fine work you do I finally got brave enough to check things out further and really enjoy this site. want you to kno
louise ringsaker 8368628 and husband ole o ringsaker 8368630 are the parents of the 9 kids listed as half siblings and with the asterik that says they have not been proven to all really and truly be related. that ole m was 6 years old when he died and ole e was 6 moths old.
i think i recently put them into this site without asking for your permission. are you related to these people? Again thank you for all the great work you do have found more family members you have put in here.

Thank you Herb for providing a tombstone for Fred Carroll. I noticed that you applied Rosetta Jane Peary birth and dead dates to Fred Carroll.
Do you know anything about Rosetta's first husband Mr. Flynn (The name Flynn is on Rosetta's tombstone)
|Noreen Peary Hammond||Fred Carroll|
Came across your Fred Carroll and am wonder if he is the one married to my 2nd cousin twice removed Rosetta Jane Peary born Aug 28 1851 in Pennsylvania and died 6 Nov 1939 in Ryder ND. I am also looking for her other husband Mr. Flynn and that's all I know about him.
I do have dates for Rosetta husband, Fred which are 14 Feb 1868 born in New York and died 8 Oct 1941 in Minot, Ward Co., North Dakota.
Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

Thank you very much for adding the birth and death dates to the Mary Estella (Boyle) Potter memorial, and also for the headstone photo. I appreciate all of your work on find-a-grave.

there is a typo. of course she was born in 1838, not 1938.
Thanks for always being so prompt to handle edits. I appreciate your work.
