Bio Photo Got hooked on Find a Grave when I saw some of my relatives head stones here. Thought it was such a great idea..so I and others will be able to have some pictures if they do not have actual people pictures to go along with their genealogy :)

RE: empty grave places with no stone
I have posted the picture of the gravesite for Marshall Bronson at Greenwich Cemetery, Savannah GA Section 10 row Q plot 37. I did verify gravesites on both side of the empty site from the City of Savannah burial database.

St Joseph Cemetery-Martin/Tanzi monument
Hi Barbara-I've filled your request for Loretta Tanzi. She is buried with her Martin family. Besides her the following people are on the monument:
Rose Marie Martin (1920-2005)
William Martin (1912-1969)
Robert M Martin (1935-1978)
Frank Martin (1903-1991)
Thyra Martin (1911-1992)
Frank Martin (1878-1942)(he has a memorial page already)
Kathryn Martin (1877-1955)
I did take pictures of both sides of the monument (Rose Marie, William and Robert are on the same side with Loretta). If you create memorial pages for the rest let me know and I'll post the pictures...Mary

Roy Fowles
Hello:

Sorry to report that there is no grave marker for Roy Fowles at Block 3, Lot 76, Space 1-A. I’ve added a photo of the general area to his memorial, and placed a small cluster of flowers to show the approximate location of his burial site.

Also added to the memorial is a copy of the same photo where I’ve inserted some information about the layout of the area and other markers nearby.

It appears that the two markers in Lot 76 are, or may be, relatives of Roy. The single marker is for Charles H. Fowles who is listed as Roy’s father in the Find A Grave memorial. The other marker lists both Dorcy Zeer and Marie O. Zeer. Her Find A Grave memorial shows that Fowles is her maiden name.

I have PDF files with the photos I added to Roy’s memorial, along with photos of the two markers mentioned above. If you’d like copies, please let me know. You’re welcome to send your contact information to me at crystals48@aol.com.

It’s always disappointing when there’s no marker. I hope this information helps you in some small way.

Thanks,
Crystal

RE: James Bishop grave
Hello, went to the library Families of Ancient New Haven- Like I said in April, these two are two different James Bishops. They are cousins. My James Bishop 1699-1780 pg201 (Family 3) son of John b 17 May 1662 d 1710 & Abigail Willet. The other James Bishop 1700-1788 pg202 (Family 7) son of James 1671-1736 & Abigail Bennett. James & John were brothers which make the two James cousins. The confusion is in the wife Elizabeth. Her maiden name is incorrect in Find A Grave, it should be Elizabeth Clinton Bishop not Elizabeth Perkins Bishop. Both Elizabeth's were born in 1703. I sent the correction to the other contributor.

I took the gravestone photo of the Veghs which I will add but I wonder if they are still alive as neither have a death date listed.

RE: Marshall Bronson
Dear Ms Samans, I am writing to you because I have been sent some really nasty message about taking pictures of gravesites with no head stone. So I have stopped taking pictures of empty gravesites and just report that to the person that the person is buried in the section but there is not gravestone marking where he/she is buried. These nasty messages from people requesting pictures have been very hurtful to me because I thought that I was helping people out when they are trying to find a loved ones gravesite. I have no problems if you leave a message on my public message board that you would like a picture of the gravesite without the headstone. I will try and go back and take a picture of the area where Marshall Bronson is buried.

You sent me an edit for this memorial that asked me to add a note regarding Charles & Maude's children, Emma born 1879 and Edward born 1894.
However, Charles was born in 1870 and Maude was born in 1869, so they could not have a daughter born in 1879. If you want to send me another "edit" to Charles' memorial with the correct information, I would be happy to add it. Better yet, send links edits to their parents for Emma's and Edward's memorials.
Thank you.
