I love doing research on my family. It's exciting to learn how we became who & where we are today. I am a Krone/Potteiger & Troup/Taylor. I'm also doing my husband's side too for our children as well, which consist of Knisely/Baker & May/Hammaker families.|

I have verbal permission from James Landis to post his Marietta cemetery photos and related data on Find A Grave. You can use them on Ancestry if you include the attribution -
Photo from The Cemeteries of Marietta, by James Landis, copyright 2012.
I have his USPS address and phone number but no email address. I can private email those to you if you want to contact him directly for permission.

Sure - I appreciate your asking very much- most people on Ancestry just take it! John D. Hamm is my GG Grandfather.

I posted a photo of the Niebel grave marker, and where Helen's grave marker stone is supposed to be there was a thick covering of dirt and shale. If you contact the cemetery office and ask them to remove the dirt; then request another photo. I will be happy to revisit and photograph it for you. I do not want to risk damaging the underground stone.

I'll have to wait till the weather approves. It's pretty wicked up here in the mountains these days. The cemetery is up on a hill. I'm pretty sure the dates are correct. Took these years ago on an older camera. Now I carry a nice digital camera. In fact, going around and retaking a lot of my older pictures and replacing.

Hi! I see that your husband and I share common ancestors...the Hostetters. Mariah Hostetter McAlister is my paternal great grandmother. Would love to know your husbands lineage to add him to my tree. ~Nancy McCalister Carlisle, PA
