The vast majority of pages I've added to Find-a-Grave are for strangers. I'm always happy to transfer pages to people who know something about these strangers. If you would like for me to transfer a page to you, please let me know (preferably by clicking on "edit" and then "suggest correction" since that will provide both a link to the page and a link to your contributor page with the necessary ID# for the transfer). NOTE: I AM TALKING ABOUT ANY PAGE ANYBODY WANTS (except for the very small number of pages I've created for my own relatives). I do not care how close kin you are or whether you are kin at all. I see no point in keeping a page for somebody I know nothing about when somebody out there does have a connection of some kind -- any kind.|
I live in Jackson (Hinds County), Mississippi, and love "graving," whether here in central Mississippi or in other places when I'm traveling. If you find errors in my listings, please send me corrections.
A note about photo requests: If you make a request for Lakewood Memorial Park, Lakewood South, or Cedar Lawn, please include the section and plot number.

Thank you so much, Natalie. I appreciate.

May I have your permission to use the photo you took of the cemetery my cousin's is buried in? I really appreciate the hard work you have done for me and others like me who cannot. These photos, which I use in the Death and Burial section of my relative's profile page (not the profile photo) add a lot to otherwise barren pages of forms and statistics.
Thank you so much,

P.S. I do not want a transfer.

Thank you very much for transferring L. S. Cornwell's memorial (Natchez City Cemetery) to my account. Your kindness is greatly appreciated.

Yes, I believe so.
Sending you info via email.
Thanks for your response.

I am afraid it looks (very much) like I gave you the wrong father for Thomas...looks like I confused him with #66182734.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Thanks for adding links!

are you related to any Manor's
|Marla Muirbrook||Elizabeth Murphy Farrell|
she is buried in Glenwood Cemetery in Yazoo county, mississppi. I was thinking this might be Williametta Farrell's mother but the maiden name is wrong. Do you have any info one her? I know in the 1930 and 1940 census Williametta's mother was widowed and lived with her.
I know you are busy and it takes time to answer people's questions.
|William Cooper||Thomas Cooper Grave Poplar Flat Cemetery|
Hello Ms. Maynor:
I hope this email finds you well. I have information that my Great Great Grandfather Thomas Cooper, a mulatto and son of slave owner George Bell Cooper is buried in Poplar Flats Cemetery.
None of the listings on find-a-grave have his name listed. I have been told by Terry Haimes (4th gen grandson of George Cooper) that he (Tom) is indeed buried there.
Do you have any information regarding a curator or caretaker for this site? Do you know if there are any photographs or information on Tom and the other slaves buried at this site?
Any information would be appreciated. I can be reached directly on my cell phone: 678-467-2597 or through my office: 770-590-4180.
Thank you and have blessed day!
