Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been doing genealogy since I was 15. Collected a lot of old bibles and pics when I was young from the older generations which worked out good, because they would have been thrown out when they died. I love FAG and have found many ancestors on here and met a lot of people on here. Willing to help anybody who has ancestors in Maryland.

Joseph Bervel Wilde
Hi Kim

I have been researching my husband's ancestors in USA, his great great grandmother Ellen Ann Moorhouse (nee Tinker) emigrated to USA during the la1890s along with 3 of her children, Christopher Ernest, Caroline and Sarah, one child John (my husband's great grandfather) stayed behind in England. Caroline also known as Carrie married a Joseph Wilde and was the mother of Joseph Bervel and Christopher Norman (who seems to have been known a Norman).

We will be visiting USA this year and it would be nice if we could make contact with any of Bervel's or Norman's descendants.

Hi Kim,
I did find that my grandmother Margaret B Juras, her husband Joseph Martin Juras, and infant son Edward J Juras are buried in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery Section Y. Next time I'm in Baltimore I'll have to try to get there to check it out and get some photos. Should you find something, do what you would need to, and I'll try to figure it out.

Having more trouble finding my paternal grandparents ... I believe they are buried in St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Baltimore, Md. Can't find an internment listing for this cemetery.
Grandfather: William Kershaw Elliott b. January 11, 1905 Kershaw County, SC; d. August 16, 1988 Timonium, Baltimore, Md
Grandmother: Pearl "Tillie" (Ciosek) Elliott b. Sept 19, 1903, Havre deGrace, Md; d. April (15?) 1981 Baltimore, Md

Any info you come across would be appreciated!
Have a great day!
Ron

Hi Kim,

My first instinct on Findagrave is to defer to the memorial creator unless something is obviously wrong. So I am okay with your choice to leave the name as you have it. That said, I can't find a rule on findagrave to use the engraved stone name when the full name is known. I'm not saying it doesn't exist, just that I haven't found it. With respect to the initial, the rule I see says to add the full name when you know it. if I owned the memorial, I would have added Ellen as the middle name. Alternatively, I might add clarification in the bio. But I don't own it. So even if you choose not to do so, I'm still okay with your choice.

Big volume contributors have greatly assisted my family research over the years, so foremost in my mind is to make sure I thank them for their many contributions to Findagrave.

Thank you for the thousands of memorials and photos you have contributed to Findagrave.,

John

RE: Henry Weber
Thank you - so you're saying I need to find the memorials for their other children before I can link them? Guess I was hoping to be able to add the names and see if anyone else might know where to find the burial location and memorial. Margaret B (Weber) Juras - is the one I was most trying to find as she was my Grandmother. Died on December 20, 1988, she was buried from St. Michael's Catholic Church on East Lombard St., Baltimore Md. I do not remember the name of the cemetery where she was buried. Husband was Joseph Martin Juras - Died 1958. If you know anything about her, please let me know - thanks!

Kim,
I'm not sure that's a great idea ..... I am quite the amateur at this geneology stuff; not even sure how to manage a memorial. Are you in the family line?

RE: Anna Catherine Jerscheid, # 92695002

Hi, Kim. The thought occurred to me that she might have been moved, but I only have the index for Mount Carmel (with no dates) so I can't tell. I may have to go to my library to see if they can get the actual record books on interlibrary loan.

Thanks.
