Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was born in St. Louis, but my parents moved to Cape Girardeau, Missouri when I was two days old and then to Graves County Kentucky when I was 9 months old.(My parents lived and worked at Paradise Friendly Home from 1966-1969) I now live in Dexter, Missouri.
I am the oldest son of the comedian Dennis Crutchfield and Margaret Douthitt (now Gilbert) and have one brother, David, who lives in Lexington, Kentucky.
In April of 2000, I became the youngest elected Alderman in Dexter, Missouri and the second youngest Alderman to ever sit on the Council. (the youngest was appointed, not elected) I also became the first Alderman to be of Native American Descent(I'm 1/8 Cherokee) the first to have a wife of Hispanic descent, and the first elected Republican from my Ward. I was reelected on April 2nd, 2002. I lost in 2004, but was elected again in 2006.
I have been interested in cemeteries since I was a kid and it always bothered my parents who called it a "morbid hobby". It has paid off now, since cemeteries have helped my knowledge of History. Now when I visit a city and find out that they have a cemetery (or cemteries) with famous graves, I go out of my way to see them (and get pictures for Find-a-grave if they are not already posted). I am a cashier at the Wal-Mart in Cape Girardeau, Mo. In October of 2015, I published my first novel, Spirit and Image. It is available on Amazon.
I am married to the former Tracy Randel (she was adopted when she was nine years old. Her birth father was Puerto Rican and her mother was of German descent), who, sadly, was in an accident in August 2010 and has been in a coma since then. I have one step-son, Darrin. No transfer requests please. I've run into too many problems with them.

Sikeston Cemeteries
Hi Tim,

I was about to begin entering photos and information on Scott County Cemeteries. Have you done the Sikes Cemetery in New Madrid County? I have written articles on 28 cemeteries in Scott County, Missouri and visited even more. I had planned on doing a book, including my articles, but I moved to Louisiana where I only child lives in 2008. That ended that.

Congratulation on the wonderful work you have done on so many people. I understand how much work it is, and the satisfaction gained from sharing the information.

Shirley Williams Rienecker
Hagy Cemetery
Tim, I am Shirley Williams Rienecker, g granddaughter of Joseph F Wiggs and his wife Amada Smith Wiggs.
The last census before they both died was in Liberty. Stoddard, Missouri.
Most of the Williams etc family is nearer to the Williams Hill and Dexter cemetery.
I am getting more and more looking at the unready grave in Hagy that you thought said Smith ans the unreadyable one next to her if it could have been Joseph. All that is able to be found the last ten years is her official family line of Smith and the 1880 census when they were both alive with their youngest daughter Birdie. She is my grandmother data, married Rufus Williams in Pile Town, Dexter area and lived there all their lives.
I wonder if carefully bleaching or such would bring out anything in the two old stones in Hagy.
Birdie was left mother-less then orphan by 1896.
Any help or ideas would be appreciated. We live in Lincoln, California. I can not find a full copy of the Soc Sec. filings on Ancestry.com wirth fuller details.
Take care. My name in the Stoddard hills are merged with a lot of your other graves.
Shirley

#43809901 - Marie Broz
Tim, I volunteer at our local historical society (Jackson County, IL) with a descendant of Marie Broz, Mike Brush. The plaque on her grave marker is in the Bohemian language. It translates as follows (per Mike Brush): "Final Resting Place for Mary Brush wife of William Brush, born 5th day of July 1862, died 6th day of August 1899. Pray for her." I will also convey the translation, using the Edit tab.
