|Julie Layman||RE: Mary (Mamie) F. Hollifield|
Thank you for your efforts. I was trying to locate her headstone. Her spouse (John A. Quinn), her infant daughter (Annie Marie), and her father (Dr. Horatio Hollifield) are on the same headstone (front and back), but, I've been unable to locate her headstone although I believe she is buried there. If you have any information you can share with me that could possibly help me locate a photo, please share if you would be so kind. I am very new at starting a family tree, so I'm not quite sure what you mean by putting her memorial in my care, but, I don't mind you doing so.
Thank you, again.

I'm the great great granddaughter of the above deceased. I believe she is buried in Old City Cemetery in Sandersville, GA.
I noticed that you posted her death certificate.
Are you related?

Joy, You added a small lodge obituary for this man. Another person has filled the rest of the slots with marker pictures. I have a picture of this man and would like to add it. Would it be possible for you to type the obituary and have it added to the text, so that I might add his picture. Please let me know. Thanks so much. Judy K. Brantley/Wilson

Joy, I just read the obit you posted for Little Jack. Thank you ! I have been to Old Sandersville Cemetery many times, and have my own pix of his grave marker, but your pix is much better ! I had never seen his obit, and had no idea he had died in Birmingham, AL, but I did know his parents lived there for a time. The parents are buried right up the road from me in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Tampa, FL. I have visited their graves often. My great-grandmother is Elizabeth Renfroe Beach, sister to John Washington Beach, Sr. I will now update my info on Little Jack on my Ancestry.com tree ! Art Stewart, Sun City Center, FL P.S. I have over 200 relatives buried in Old Sandersville, and many more all over Washington County, GA and over in Grange, in Jefferson County.

No problem! Do you want me to transfer those other two memorials to you?

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. I knew that he was not well; but didn't know the nature of his illness. He said in one e-mail that his time was short; so I knew something was going on. I've been trying to help spread the word as he was such a nice man.
