John C. Whitehurst, #66939614
Thank you for placing a memorial for Cadet Whitehurst. I suspect he would have graduated with his class (1971) at The Citadel in May 1971. I placed a photo on his page that you might want to see. If you have any additional information about John, please contact me through my Findagrave profile. Thanks, Rev. Richard B. Hodges (Maj., USAF-Ret.), Citadel 72.

RE: Wards
Any time... I am keeping an eye out for the one you want. I shot about 3,000 more that I need to crop and get in. I will eventually find it! Hope all is well your way.

RE: Kevin Stephens
You are welcome. Whenever I get over that way again, I will make sure you get a pic of the permanent marker if one hasn't been taken by then. :-)

Glad I could take the photo for you. My only brush with Civil War reenactors was my reading of Tony Horwitz's "Confederates in the Attic" and the occasional demonstrations here at Chickamauga. Very interesting pursuit.
