Bettie McDole #112240756
Hi Kim,
May I copy the obit you posted for Bettie? It has been the only starting point for me to identify her maiden name (Combs). (I'm from the McDole line). Thank you for your consideration.

RE: Norma Dean Baker
Hi Kim,

Norma Dave Baker was my grandfather. My mother has always told me his middle name was Dave and I have a cousin named after him. However, to be sure I dug out some old documents and found his certificate of death. It was issued by the State Department of Health May 11, 1978 and the number stamped on it is 010377. His date of death was May 5, 1978. The certificate clearly states Norma Dave Baker.

I have found much to my surprise, that there are many errors in obituaries, census records and other documents as well. We are only human after all. This journey called "finding your roots" has been tedious, frustrating, jaw dropping and totally amazing. Thanks for contributing to the journey!

Best regards,
Michele Anderson

RE: McNabb
Thank you!
I'm looking for the grave or memorial of my Aunt Linda Aileen McNabb Stone. Birth Jun 12, 1953. Death Feb 15, 2011. I will send you a list of the obituaries that might be in the Oklahoman. Thank you again for helping me with this. April.

RE: Ethel Patton Campbell
Thank you. That is fine. I just asked because she is a great-aunt by marriage.

HaHa! You are correct about it being the gravestone inscription! Don't know why I thought it meant the info came from the family bible.

Thank you for responding. Will continue to hunt for her parents.

Memorial# 132147019 Question
Hi,
On this memorial, it mentions birth/death info from the family bible. Do you know who has that family bible? I would like to see if there are any clues to help find this person's family (parents). Thanks in advance,
Cynthia

RE: Resthaven
I'll be sure to do that but could you give me the memorial number of the request in question. I have quite a few requests and in more than one Resthaven.

Thank you

Steve
