I have been actively searching for my elusive ancestors since 1974. What began all those years ago as an endeavor to help my daughter with a class project quickly turned into a major obsession. Here it is thirty four years later and I'm still obsessed and still spending most of my waking hours trying to break down those brick walls and piece together all the loose ends. I only began recently posting family Memorials on Find A Grave. A few of the family lines I am working on are:|
Heart/Hart (Brick Wall)
Busby (Brick Wall)
I also work on my husband's lines:

Thanks for the update. No kind,just tracking info.
I notice that you have an outstanding request at Fairhaven Cemetery for Hugh Casey. This cemetery is very unfriendly to volunteers and unless we have a location, we are unable to fulfill your request. There are over 80,000 burials at this cemetery. If you would call the cemetery, they will help relatives in ascertaining locations. If you get the location, you can either place it on the memorial through the edit function or message me directly. Their number is 714-633-1442.

Your most welcome! glad i could help.
|Beverly Joe Vaughn ☮||pics for Henry & Cora|
Was visiting folks in the Snow Cem on Find A Grave and noticed that you've left pics on the memorials of Cora & Henry Flippo but the list of Flippos show only that there is a pic of their stone not one of them. Thought you might want to delete the pics and re-enter them so it shows there is a pic for them.
I remember her when she lived there on the road above the cemetery. She lived between the cemetery and my grampie and grannie Vaughn there at Wayton.
I wish someone had a pic of her and Henry when they were older. Do you by any chance have one. I figured if you did you'd have added it to their memorials. You're too thorough to let something like that get past you.
thanks for all you do
|James Shearin||Jesse Clinton Casey's son William E. Casey|
Hello, I keep seeing that on the Casey family links everyone is talking about the bible of Jesse Clinton Casey. I was wondering if you have any more information on his son William E. Casey born 06/22/1866. William E. Casey married Allie F. Marlin on 07/24/1887 in Taney County, Missouri. Allie was the daughter of Robert Emmett Marlin and Louisa Angelina Hogan. By the 1900 Census they were in Boone County, Arkansas with children Sarah Loella "Lou" Casey born 06/1893 and William E. Jr. born 03/1897. By 1910 they were living in Rogers County, Oklahoma. Allie died sometime after the 1920 Census. William E. Jr died sometime prior to 1930 as his children Edward L. Casey and Dewayne Casey are living with their aunt and grandfather William Elijah Casey (that's how he is listed in the census) shows born in Arkansas father born in Georgia and mother born in Tennessee. William Elijah Casey died sometime after the 1940 Census. I don't have a death date or location for either William Elijah Casey, Allie F. Marlin Casey, or William Elijah Casey Jr. Sarah Loella "Lou" Casey married a Louis Edward Smith. She was born on 06/21/1893 in Taney County, Missouri and died on 05/06/1973 in Tarrant County, Texas. She is buried in the Adair Cemetery, Adair, Mayes County, Oklahoma. She had no children but raised her 2 nephew's.

very happy to do it.
|Nancy ||Aaron Casey estate records|
Dear Ms. Dihm,
You mentioned that you had estate papers of both Aaron and Mary Polly Wayne. I am trying to help their 6xs ggrandaughter get in the DAR. She has the papers saying Aaron served in the Revolutionary War in SC, but finding documents linking him to Polly has been difficult.
Do you have that linkage? If so, would you be willing to email me a copy?

If you notice by the number of requests still pending for over a year with this cemetery that unless there is a location, volunteers are unable to get information from the cemetery. This cemetery is very unfriendly to volunteers and without a location, we are unable to fulfill your request. There are over 80,000 burials at this cemetery. If you would call the cemetery, they will help relatives in ascertaining locations. If you get the location, you can either place it on the memorial through the edit function or message me directly. I would like to pick up your photo request but Sparkman Hillcrest (SH) does not like to provide burial locations to volunteers, citing privacy issues. Your cooperation is needed in order for requests to be filled. The volunteers will need you to call SH and request the location. Their phone number is 214-363-5401. Once you have the location, please add it to your request. Thanks.

You're welcome. I have found cemeteries to be very helpful with location information when I call, including several on Long Island. Mostly I have called for family folks. Good Luck, Bob
