I'd like to know of your sources for the information about Mary. The Collin County, TX Marriage Index shows her as Mary Puffen (Puffer) and our family shows she is the daughter of Samuel and Elizabeth C. Duff Puffer.

I believe I have found Joe Foster's death certificate in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Joseph Daniel Foster
Born - July 5, 1890, Oregon County, Missouri
Died - March 11, 1954, Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana

It lists his parents names as James Foster and mother Susan. The body was sent to Thayer, Missouri for burial, but it doesn't list the name of the cemetery.

Is there a way that I can attach a copy of it to a message? I'm not sure how to send it to you. If you would like to have it let me know. Thanks for posting all of this information so we can find relatives from a distance.

RE: Salem Cemetery, Fulton Co. AR
It is a huge help. Thanks so much! Now I can go ahead and make memorials for them here on Find a Grave and when we get a chance to take pics I can add the gravestones.

I really appreciate your going the extra mile searching for Noel and Eliza. As far as my records they just disappear after 1880. It's such a shame that the 1890 census was lost. That might have given me a hint.

Yes, the rows aren't straight and the hills don't help. The only times I've been there were for funerals. I'm looking forward to a visit when the weather gets nicer. I drove past it every work day for 23 years.

Thanks. I'll put together a list. Most of the family members who are buried there died before 1999. Is there a map or diagram of the graves?

Salem Cemetery, Fulton Co. AR

I was looking through some photo requests for this cemetery and found a problem photo note that you wrote that mentions a Cemetery Inscription Book for Fulton Co. My husband's family has several members buried in this cemetery that aren't included on Find a Grave or Arkansas Gravestones. We live nearby and I'd like to photograph their gravestones and add them, but I'm not sure where to look. It's a big cemetery.

Please check Joe and R. L.'s memorials...the same photo is used for both of them. I'm typing a story from one of Bill & Leota's neighbors in the 1940's....she is telling of the great picnics uner their shade trees on the third Sunday in August. Wouldn't you like to have a picnic in Hardeman County in August?!!! My love...Jeanene Stermer #47272362
