Genealogy has been my back burner hobby since 1978. With work and raising a family time for researching has been rare.|
I love the find a grave site. Got a request answered within a week.
Enjoy the e-mails I get from adding a pic for others.
If you find any errors or need to add anything to entries I have made please let me know.
Along the way I have added gravestone info on persons not on my family tree. This because the stone was unique or in danger of being lost forever.
The people who maintain this site are great and are making available much information for us and hopefully future generations.

Sorry about that.
Thanks for letting me know :-)

I tried to view the picture you took. Only 1/8 inch at the top is seen, appears to be green grass. Perhaps the picture is only very slow loading. Are you able to view the entire picture? I was not. Hopefully it will fully load later on. Thanks.

Thank you very much for locating my 3rd great grandfathers' stone.
Could you explain, in part, which side of the road you found his stone and if I was even in the correct cemetery? The cemetery I was in was the Zion Chapel cemetery which was split by County Road 1300N. It was just north of Neoga, in Cumberland County.
I'm in the process of getting a VA stone for him and the location of this stone will help locate where the new one will be. Handy, Jr. was a Private in the war of 1812 and was following in his fathers', Handy Sr., footsteps. Handy Sr. was also a Private in the Revolutionary War. I've been unsuccessful in locating Handy Sr.'s stone in Kentucky.
I appreciate your help in finding Handy Jr.'s stone and would appreciate any directions placing his new stone.

Thank you for the memorial of my husband's gt.gt. grandmother. As an FYI, her father was Jeremiah Bruce, if anyone is interested.

Thank you for full filling my request for a gravestone photo.
Today was first dry day to get over to St. Boniface and get some photos. I searched Lot 61 Behmer-Schmidt Block 6 and no luck on the daughter.
I sent a few things I found but sorry cannot see anything for Elizabeth Behnen buried in the same plot. I will look at the library for you on my next trip and see what the card file has on her = please confirm her name spelling and would you know who she married?

Yes, thank you! I have not really done that before, but I know I can do it! Thank you again for all you have done, it really means so much to me.
|Russ M||RE: Ferree Calvary Cemetery|
Thanks again for your help.
I was also told by relatives that the parents of Virgil and John Ferree may also be buried at Calvary.
James Buchanan and Martha Philomema Ferree, no other information on them. If you find them and are able to take a photo I will fill in all the information on the memorials
