I have no further information for these memorials other than what appears on the stones (some of which are unreadable in some areas), nor are any of these part of my family. I would be happy to transfer these memorials to family members.

Hi PupDawg (Is that you, Tracey?)
Would you be willing to transfer Pierre Bolduc and Marie Claire Binet to me? They are my 3rd great grandparents. I've linked them to my 1 and 2 great grandparents.
Thanks for all the work you do in this site!

Good Morning ~
Thank you for taking the photo of the grave of John B Mansfield. Would it be okay with you if I copy that photo and post it on his Fold3.com memorial page? Thank you,
|Cheryl Follansbee||Howell Atwell|
Thank you for letting me know about the correction needed for Atwell. Greatly appreciated. Cheryl

John Kent 1641(1645)-1718 is an ancestor of mine, but I am not the one who gave him the title of Sgt.. I imagine that Jeffery James gave him that title perhaps from a book listing gravestone transcriptions that were done before the carving became too worn to read as it is now.
Since he died in 1718, the only war that he might have been in was King Philips War in the 1670s. He may well have received the title of Sargent because that is the rank he held in the local militia company.
I do not think he should be considered a "Veteran", but Jeffery James may know more.
Thanks for asking about John Kent and for working to identify veterans to be honored with flags on Veteran's Day.
