I am always interested in adding to my family research, so if you have connections to Admire, Glover, Gallaher, Allen, Morrison, Gillam, Bird, Werbin, Litke, Steen, Carpenter, Edwards, or Chittenden families, please let me know.|
If you come across a member of your (our) family which I have added, please let me know if you would like to make additions to the site. I hope you will feel free to add family photos!
I believe it's very important to document our cemeteries and this is one of the best ways to do that. If you are grateful for a volunteer photo that I've taken, please thank me by removing the ads from the memorial.

|Janet Thayer Blickle||Brush Prairie cemetery|
Thank you Heidi for the photo's of my Van Atta family.
I just have one question but not sure who I should ask if not you.
Gershum and Sarah Van Atta had a still born child while traveling West on the Oregon Trail in 1854.
Even though there is no information on this baby other than the baby was female. Is there any where on Find A Grave that this can be noted? For example the list of Gershum and Sarah's children.
My guess whould be no but I just had to ask because the Oregon Trail is a very important part of American history.
|Jan Fenter||Lenore DeWitt Gillam, 53027925|
I'm doing a photo project in the mausoleum at Lincoln Memorial Park, Portland, Oregon, and found the crypt for Lenore DeWitt Gillam. You didn't have a date of birth for her, and the crypt says 1907. I've placed a couple of photos on her memorial page.
I can remove my photos if you would rather not have them on Lenore's memorial page.

I also sent an obit for William Henry Dalton on October 1 and it still hasn't been put on memorial. Would you like me to send it again?
|Peggy Bargen Duey||Active or Inactive?|
Are you active yet? If not, I would appreciate having some of your memorials transferred to me, such as a 2nd great-uncle. thanks!!!

A friend told me about this change a couple days after this was deployed. I have sent an edit/s to you so I thought maybe you didn't know about it. You might want to pass it on to your friends. thanks!!! ~Peggy
New "Automated" system for "Suggest a Correction/Submit an Edit"
New System for Memorial Edits deployed by FindAGrave on 12/5/2013
Go to your Contributor/Profile page. Look in the upper right corner. You should now see a tab called "Edits" - check there to see if any have been submitted to you. Then just review and accept.
Way easier for doing updates to names/dates/places/plot numbers/links. If you don't approve within 21 days it will automatically accept it.
You still will get e-mails to add info to bio section.

It is Fairhaven not Fairview.
|K. (Salsman) Martin||Laura Radie Knighten West|
My name is Karen (Salsman) Martin. I was wanting to know if you have any information on Laura Radie West? She is buried at Fair-view Memorial cemetery. It states you created it.
Then it says "Mother"
I am trying to find out if I am barking up the wrong tree. My Laura Radie Knighten West - married to William West that is buried in MO. Census show children: Arlie, William C., Edgar, Earl,Inez, and Nova.
Any information would be wonderful

I spent several hours in this cemetery looking for specific individuals including the York family you requested. I am sad to report that no stones for them were discovered.
