Johanna Maria Lowes Zschille
Hello Margie,
I know Johanna's death cert shows her father as Chris Lowes, but it's incorrect. She was actually a daughter of Christian Lowes' son Johann Conrad Lowes who was married to Sophie Hannah Marie Kaiser. I'm not related, just working on this family for friend.

RE: Kertsner
Well this is confusing to say the least. I would say "no" leave them at Old Lorimier. The baby (whose name I had spelled wrong oops) was buried at Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery. I have linked her -Anna Lydia Kerstner 1874 to her parents at Old Lorimier - Claus and Anna Elizabeth (Hirsch) Kerstner). In the mean time I found a Carl Kerstner born 1884 and also buried at Zion whose parents were Claus and Anna Elizabeth (Hirsch) Kerstner buried at the Christ Lutheran Church Cemetery in Jackson. The father is listed as Johann Heinrich Claus and the mother as Anna Elisa. So I still think the best thing to do is leave them all "as is". sorry to have bothered you with all this - I love doing this until we run into problems like this. LOL Ruth

Jacob Nelson Hoss
I was wondering if you had any information on his Grandfather or Great-Grandfather. I know it says on the page grandson of Johann c. Hoss and Great grandson of Johannes Hass but I can't seem to find them buried anywhere. If you could help me out that would be great. The Hoss's are my moms relatives and would love to know more about them.

Hello. I am the grandson of Minnie Elmina Hawn, great grandson of George Washington Hawn and so on. My parents and so forth are buried in the Christian Church Cemetery in Fredericktown, MO. I just wanted to touch base with you as I certainly recognize the Hartle name in doing geneology. Thanks for what you do! Regards, Alan Atwood

Carolina (Ruffert)and Anton J F. Schrock
Hi, Margie Buchheit Hartle,
I was very surprised and pleased when I saw the photo of Carolina (Ruffert)and Anton J F. Schrock that you have added. They emigrated in 1852 from Silesia.
I've Carolina Mathilda Genovefa (1817-1915)in my family tree.
Where did you get this photo - there are perhaps even more pictures from this time?
I would be very happy to hear from you
