This site helps preserve our family histories and information that can fade with time from our cemeteries. I'm glad to be able to contribute and want to thank all of you who have contributed to this wonderful resource.|
My husband deserves many thanks for driving me to cemeteries or stopping at ones we see along the road as we travel. He helps me watch where I step and for things that crawl. He has walked many of these cemeteries with me or patiently sat waiting for me.
My Great-Uncle Will walked the cemetery in Cherokee, Texas with me when I was in grade school and told me about some of the people buried there. I wish I had been old enough to realize how important that information was. He was from the time when the men in the community dug the grave for someone for free and it showed love, honor, and respect.
At that same time in my life my Grandmother told me not to step on the graves as a way to show respect. She was also an example of love and respect in her actions as I watched her clear the weeds from my Grandfather's grave by chopping them with a hoe.

Hello. This is apparently Wiley Wood Burton. Do you know anything about his blind daughter Pinkie, who attended the Texas School for Blind in Austin and was a singer and music teacher?

Thank you so much for creating an entry for Hope Hunn Goldman. She was my dad's cousin. I remember his speaking fondly of her.

Thank you so much for creating my nephew's FindAGrave. I have added a picture. I have started adding and updating our family's information. I have added Anthony's mother to him since she passed away, but it has not been approved yet.
Blessings to you for having a heart for each and every person that you have made known to their families and the public. God bless you.
|Heidi U||Ina Lee Baker|
Do you have any info linking Ina Lee Baker to parents Harvey and Katie Cook? Harvey and Katie are my great grandparents, and I haven't been able to find anything about Ina after the 1910 census.

Memorial #53867810 is a duplicate of one done in March (yours was done in June) BEFORE deleting it please remove the photo and fill the request for it by adding the photo to memorial #48457167 = the original one.
Thank you for the photo and for your work with F.A.G. Your heart is as big as Texas!
I agree with you about listening. I am 76 and wish I had asked a lot more questions and listened better when my Grandma Rasmussen and my Aunt Adeline had talked about the lovely Swedish family history! What few things I think I remember is helping, but...spelling is always problem!

I am sorry for making an error on the Longitude leaving off a 0 before the 5. Please complete the edit I sent you. Thanks

I didn't mean to bombard you with edits. But when I seen that the cemetery was only 54% pictured, I had to take a wak at it.
It Took me two days of spare time, plus some to get all the pics in. Sure did make a dent in it though, up to 89%.
I so enjoy taking pics and linking family member's. You don't know of any other cemeteries that needs pics taken, do you?
My Moma says I like it so much, cause I'm so nosey :)
Thanks for your time. I appreciate it.
