Frederick Fieser
I am curious to know how you acquired the beautiful portrait of my great great grandfather, Frederick Fieser? Are you also related to him? I have the same photograph.

Cora E. Homelius, adjustments
Cora Elizabeth Burruss, Nolen, Homelius is my great grandmother.
Her maiden name is Burruss, Her first husband is George Albert Nolen, He is buried in lost grave in Fenter, Grant County, ARK, Memorial number 172037238. If, there could be a note on her page to include him and their children, then the rest of family info for that group can follow. The children from that marriage are 1. Ida Lorraine Nolen, who married Maurice Duncan, they had a baby girl, who died when Ida died. These two are buried in grave which is lost in Anthony Fla. Maurice I haven't found yet, suspect he is in GA.
2. Donnie E. Nolen, who married Eddie Grover Grant, both of which are buried as is Cora in Tavares Cemetery.

The reference to Caroline May Homelius is Aunt to the Caroline Homelius, Taylor who has a Identical twin, named Martha Homelius,Samson. The Caroline who is listed shouldn't be on this page. And just in case it is confused, when looking into this there were another set of twins born in 1916 to Cora and 2nd husband the year before the Caroline and Martha set were born in 1917 both sets born in AR.
Then there is a Charles Augustus Homelius who was born in 2nd marriage, namesake,jr. who was a little boy at death, nick named MUGGY. he is in LA. Then the 2nd Husband and FATHER to the rest of the children Homelius, was Charles Augustus Homelius, who had 2 sisters and one of them is the Caroline May, who is retired teacher, it is this link not correct, she is 2nd husbands sister not daughter. And I think the Charles Augustus Homelius link may need to be checked to make sure it is is also, Tavares Cem, and not Louisiana. I'm sorry if this is confusing. I think you all do a good job. Will try to clarify and get you all that you need to make a correct job, I think the linking is a good thing, but, a bit of a sticky wicket at present, lol. Thank you.

Donnie E. Nolen, Grant
The sister of Donnie, Ida Lorraine Nolen, married a Morris/Maurice Duncan. They had a child a little girl, who died when the mother died as family lore has indicated. The mother and child are in a lost grave in Anthony Fla.

Thanks.

Donnie Ezell Grant
Hi Judy,
I like the memorial page you have created for my Grandmother.
Her parents are the Following: Cora Elizbeth Burruss,Homelius. Her father is George Albert Nolen.

If the links could include her father it would be appreciated.

Her blood siblings are. Ida Lorraine Nolen
Lloyd Nolen

At the time George Albert Nolen passed away in Arkansas, the widow was left with 3 kids. She remarried quickly to Homelius, and had several more children. Those who are listed on her page are indeed 1/2 blood related to her, thru her mother.

When I clicked on the link for Caroline, it took me to a person who isn't my Great Aunt Caroline, who is indeed at rest in same cemetery as is her mother and father. Caroline is found under the name of Taylor, her husband is Lansing. They have a tombstone, with oval photo of the two of them together. Could you please research what happened that the link goes to someone not of this group, and if it can be changed?

Also, Caroline had a identical twin named Martha, they were born in 1917, but in 1916 another pair of twins were born to Cora and Charles Homelius.

Hope this isn't too confusing. Thanks for your help.

Orma Ada Mahan
Remove the Boone name from this site. Ada Boone was her mother but her father was Matthew Padgett. Name should be Orma Ada Padgett Mahan.
Thank you.
I am Dolores Padgett Strandberg, Orma's half-sister. We have the same father. Matthew Padgett is buried in FermHill Cemetery, Stuart, Florida, with my mother Myrtle Holton Padgett.

Commodore Perry Compton
Judy, Happy New Year 2017. Less than 2 months ago we finally connected our Rhoda (Lewis, nee Hicks) from Tazewell 1850 census as sister to Lucinda Hicks-Compton(C.P's mother), thanks to Rebecca on familysearch.org. It only took us 20 years to find this link. She was C.P. Compton's aunt. I posted majority of photos of Rhoda's children on familysearch. Would you mind sharing any pictures you may have from that line in the family trees on familysearch? Our Rhoda is LKQB-2X9. It would be great to have all the records in one place and perhaps find new connections. Still looking for her husband's (John Lewis) parents. Also, please have a look at Darhtula Robinett from Bland (LHJ3-VDJ) and her sister Regina, that I added on familysearch. You are welcome to use them on findagrave if you'd like. Thanks, Yolanda.
