Bio and Links
I have been working on genealogy for 30 years. Hope my pictures of markers may help someone who is looking for a loved one. Please feel free to use any photos I have taken.
If you see I have a duplicate please let me know. I will be happy to transfer any sites.
I will post old markers even if I can only read the last name.
Please take the time to make sure the dates you input are correct. If you are off and I post the correct date don't ask me to delete mine because your posting is earlier.
No good time to photograph markers, Winter to cold, Summer to hot, Spring fire ants and Fall all those falling leaves but still enjoy being a grave walker and helping others.

RE: Correction
Hi Linda,

I took those pictures that show the name Aquilla Tidwell. The name with Quilly in it is what automatically comes up from the list of cemeteries in Hickman County. I have no idea who has the power to change that. If you have a suggestion, please let me know. Cathey

Hi Linda
D.A. Campbell never served in a TN unit, as stated on the photo. The author of the history used my ancestor's photo for another David Campbell. He was also not a Jr. Thanks in advance for your removing the photo to avoid confusion. I included the units he did serve in in his bio.

RE: McQuerry family
Although I've coresponded with Mary Jerelene "Jerry" Childers McQuerry, I've only met her once briefly when she and her husband, Burney Alfred McQuerry, came to visit my grandmother, (Mary) Ruth Dougherty Box, when I was in college back in the early 1970s. My grandmother lived in Grapevine, Texas. No, I don't know Paul McQuerry.

Do you live in Fort Worth as well? I'd like to meet more McQuerrys some time. I live in Waco since my Dad was a Professor of Business Law and Real Estate at Baylor University.

RE: McQuerry family
I'll be happy to share my McQuerry information with you, but I think you are related to a different Minerva McQuerry, although we may be more distant cousins. My great great grandmother was Martha Louisa Degman McQuerry, and my great great grandfather was Dr. William McQuerry. They died from injuries sustained in the Zephyr tornado in 1912.

Yes, but i'm getting slower at it.My brother & I went Mon. and took some more. I'm having knee & back problems so I can only last 2 or 3 hrs at the most. I'm still working in Garden of Love.

This is a warning for other Find A Grave contributors who have been advised that one of their memorials is a duplicate by Find A Grave Member #48172028 (Debbie Forte). The fact is that your memorial was very likely NOT a duplicate. If my own experience is any indication, this contributor creates UNKNOWN BURIAL memorials. When the actual burial place is identified by another Find A Grave Contributor, she changes the burial place on her memorial to match, then claims that YOUR memorial is a duplicate of HER memorial because it predates yours. This isn't the 1st, 2nd or even 3rd time I have experienced this and has been going on at least since 2014 and probably longer.

RE: Welcome back
Hi Linda,
Yes I am still working in Garden of Love. I'm about 3/4 of the way through with it. I don't know about you & everyone else but I'm having a heck of a time with the Find A Grave website. It is constantly freezing up on me and it takes me forever to add a memorial. I don't know what's wrong. I don't have that problem with Ancestry or any other websites. I don't know if they've added something that doesn't agree with my computer or what. Do you have any freezing problems or is it just me?
I will let you know when I do change sections.
