RE: Onetia Maddox
Alright. I'm going to transfer her to you.
You get to change her name. You may want to pull a birth record. Perhaps you have. That would help to be certain that Myrtle Onetia is indeed the correct order. Religious names are often not the legal name.
Have a great research day.

Onetia Maddox
You requested edits for Onetia(Clanton)Maddox. I found all the docs to support your edit requests but her first name. Are you a family member? Where did you get Myrtle? I could only find her middle initial as "M" on the 1940 Census. If you're family I'll absolutely go with your first hand knowledge. My concern is that EVERYTHING..voter reg, census', marriage & city directories all provide Onetia as her first name, including the cemetery who would have been provided information from her family.
I look forward to you solving this little mystery.
Also you should request a photo to see how her family or she has her headstone. We'll go shoot it if you request it.
Please let me know if and how you are related.

RE: Elbert Franklin Bagwell
How exciting to find a relative!! We have one male on my Mom's side, my Uncle Joe. I don't know if that is enough to link them with DNA. I did get both of my parents to do the Ancestry DNA, it is my Mom's side. But, what I know is they do go with the Y chromosome, which we as women do not have. I will be speaking with my Uncle tomorrow and plead with him to do the DNA test.

Do you have a birth or death certificate of anyone of that side? I am guessing no one has Elbert Franklin's or we wouldn't be having this conversation. I have my Grandmother's and some of my Great Grandmother's, but that is as far back as I have.

Do you have an Ancestry tree? I would love it if we could connect there.

Thanks for all of your hard work Christie.

RE: Elbert Franklin Bagwell
Hi Christie,
Looks like you have done some research on the Bagwell family. I guess all I have at this time is family stories, but I will keep looking for further proof. I will certainly let you know when I find a link.

Are you related to the Bagwells? Earnest Knox Wilson was my Great Grandfather; son of Elbert Franklin and Belzira Jane Cruce or Cruz.

Thank you for all that you do!!

Rachel and Lillian Entwistle
Your memorials are beautiful !
I wanted you to know that others have created memorials for the same people except they spelled the name as Entwhistle with the H, they have the cemetery correct but the spelling is different so it created different memorials. if you put it in as a new search spelling it their way (with the H )
it comes up.

maybe you can clear it up with find a grave. good luck

again your memorials are wonderful
