|Nancy Cornelius||Esther Farmer, Norris, Jones, Kennamer|
Needing some help. I saw where you were following the Norris family. You posted a picture on who I think was Esther's first husband... Reeford Sylvester Norris. Do you know anything about Esther Farmer?
Her 3 husbands according to her obit were:
Reeford Sylvester Norris, Charles J Jones, and
Robert V Kennamer.
Trying to work on her memorial and add her 3 husbands. The only stone that has her name and a dod is the one at Marshall Memorial Gardens in Albertville, Marshall Co. AL., see memorial 62348540, as a Jones. She also has a memorial as a Kennamer in this same cemetery. Then there is a memorial set up for her where the first husband is buried as a Norris.
Do you have any information that would help me confirm what I have documented. If I have all the information correct I want to get the 3 memorials merged together. Thanks for your help.
|Orvis Haney||Satira Angeline "Benson" Moulder Corbin|
Satira was my great-grandmother. I don't know why her name shows up spelled Bensen instead of Benson. If you would please correct.
I know that it will open a can of worms but the information on her father's cemetery marker is not correct. Monroe and his brother Shelton were members of Company F, 6th Regiment, 1st Brigade Georgia State Troops. They enlisted on November 25, 1861. Monroe was discharged on March 2, 1862. He had contracted measles and had run a fever and was discharged because of "general debility". The war information on his cemetery marker is for Oscar Thornton Benson, son of William Prew Benson, son of Thornton Benson.

You have David Hixson listed as having been part of "Co. A, 10th Tenn. CAL, CSA" per his marker's inscription. The CSA part is not on his marker. In fact, he was a Union soldier. Please fix it so it reads USA instead of CSA.

One pic for sure doesn't go with this person--not sure about the other one. Please remove at least the one...thanks!
You have 2 pictures posted on this memorial that is incorrect. Thanks
