My first experience with family genealogy was 1978, shortly after my paternal grandfather died. After exploring my family as far as I could and no real knowledge of how to research my family I put it aside for another 8 or 9 years. When Jim and I married in 1986 we began a discussion about genealogy and found we were both very interested in it. By then more and more people were exploring their roots. I'm not sure how we discovered the many wonders the Fort Worth Public Library and Regional National Archives had to offer, but once we did there was no stopping us. Only 30 miles away we made a trip to one of them every weekend for many years. Now we do our research in the comfort of our home, spending many, many hours combing the internet for clues to those elusive ancestors. We have always loved old cemeteries, at one time spent countless hours helping clean the local abandoned cemeteries. We don't do that now that our cemeteries are perpetually cared for by the Johnson County Cemetery Association. During that time my husband and I researched and ordered about 32 CSA tombstones from the government for Balch Cemetery. There are more that have not been added, so let me know if you find one in the cemetery.|

💕 Two beautiful little girls from our area who were abducted from their homes and murdered. Hope you will take the time to visit their memorials. Because of the work the family of Amber Hagerman did in years to follow most states if not all states have the Amber alert that is sent out when a child is missing.

|Nancy LoSardo||Are we relayed?|
Ian the great niece of John T Mahaney (1854-1933) and Catherine Dwyer Mahaney (1857-1927), both buried in St Patrick's Cemetary in Jordan NY. I see on a ships manifest next to Johns name a Timothy Mahaney. Is this a relative also?
|Cade J. Campbell||Transfer?|
Could you please transfer Find A Grave Memorial# 61195835 to my account? He is my grandfather and I wanted to keep him with my grandmother, Letha. I loved them dearly. I appreciate you managing the memorial and thanks for your time. Happy Holidays,
|Bonnie Shirley Amery||Mahaney and Short|
Your name catches my attention. Are you related to Memorial #68004611 or Memorial #117767717?
I am related to both the Mahaney and the Short memorials.

|Jenni James||John James|
Can you please tell me how you knew my father?
|William Gorman||Maurine Campbell McCall|
Thank you for creating Find A Grave Memorials for Maurine and her husband, Richard Culberson McCall. Richard was my wife's uncle whom she loved very much. Maurine died 3 years after my wife and I were married and we attended her funeral service and burial in Alvarado where I was able to meet many of the McCall uncles, aunts and cousins for the first time. This is just a note to give you a heads up on the inscription error on Maurine's memorial # 117949972 which reads; "w/o of Richardson Bersen McCall". This should read: "w/o Richard Culberson McCall". I will be submitting this thru the Find A Grave Edit process.
Thank you again.

Just posted a photo of the marker for Mary Ann Hector Cook at Greenwood, Ft. Worth, TX, Tarrant Co. On her site it said the office had said it was unmarked. You may want to remove that now since the marker has been posted.

Could you please link M.G. Floyd # 111809442 (at Glenwood) with his parents Preston R. Floyd # 49665226 and Mary Leona Anderson Floyd # 33975887.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for visiting my husband Michael on his second birthday in Heaven. It means more than I can say. *Hugs* ~ Sue
