Bio and Links
Bio Photo We work as a team: Russian-Danish family living in London. After a few years in the Middle East, we have now moved to our next adventure in China. County-keepers for England. Being long-term expats, we are very interested in all Russians and Danes who found their last resting place away from their home countries. We will be grateful for any comments, advice and links to memorials. Thanks to this wonderful website we have found many friends all over the world and the amount of mails we receive increase all the time. We appreciate all the mails and ALWAYS reply but sometimes it takes longer than we would like to!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We prefer to get your questions and corrections through the EDIT tab in the memorial. Please include your own e-mail in case we need to write back to you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

RE: Heaton cemetery
There is a separate Ukranian section, but as I don't know the language couldn't say who was buried, happy to take photos for you and send so you can make memorials

Offspring for William Berkeley
I notice in your memorial for this William Berkeley, Find A Grave ID#73190444, that the bio says he had no offspring, but the memorial has links to two of his supposed children.

RE: Harriet Laskier or Lasker
Merci beaucoup. I had given up hope of learning any more about my Polish Jewish grandparents.

Best regards,

Harriet Laskier or Lasker
Dear Madam,

Thanks to you I have a little more information about my Polish Jewish Great Grandmother. Could you possibly let me have the full inscription on her grave, please? I believe it may help to trace her family in Russian Poland. I have been told by a Polish lady that Laskier or Lasker is an anglicised version of a Polish name but she could not say which.

Thanking you in advance,

Richard D Wood-Kneller

Harriet Lasker who died 3rd Jul 1913, Aged 70 years.

J&K, just for your information, I'm playing by the rule and asking people who created duplicate to remove them, and I have never received, neither one, a positive reply. The last below, for a duplicate for Brian Epstein, that is a famous person, therefore would be important no duplicate are there:

Hi Elisa...
I noted your email to me regarding my Entry for Brian Epstein... you are quite right when you state that the original entry is older than mine... However, as the historian for Everton Cemetery, I can categorically state that the original entry for Brian, at Everton Cemetery does not exist, and according to Find A Grave rules... No Burial or memorial... means no valid page.
Hard as it seems... Brian is buried at the Long Lane Jewish Cemetery / Liverpool, along with his Parents and brother (each having their own headstone at THIS cemetery)... I am also the historian for the Jewish cemetery...
You can either leave both, or contact Find A Grave to remove mine and thus the historical fact, separating him from his 'linked' family members and their actual burial place, or theirs which is factually incorrect... the choice is yours...
Mal Holmes

of couse Mal is very kind, I received worst replies. I'm now wondering if I was the only one to comply and delete hundreds of COMPLETE memorials, to leave some scant memorials with no link or bio.

Regards, Elisa

Max Herrmann #357 104 97
Dates of birth and death, photos and cemetery fit to the writer Max Herrmann-Neisse, but from the third sentence on the biography belongs to Dr. Max Herrmann, born 1865 in Berlin and died 1942 in KZ-Theresienstadt. See #172 757 890.
That obviously somthing is confused you notice for example on the year of marriage 1898, when the groom was twelve years old.
