Bio Photo Happy Spring everyone! I look forward to Spring and Summer, and to helping you all out here in Washington State. Let me know if you would like some helps!

Some have asked about my father - it has been almost one year since he died and he is still missed, every day. Thank you all for your previous comments about Dad and his 14 year battle with Alzheimer's Disease. He was a great Christian man. Full of kindness, very compassionate, gentle and humble. He will be so missed by all of us four children, 14 grand children, 20 great grand children, and 3 great great grand children. Dad -- Your legacy of family, love, and compassion, will live on in our hearts forever.

Dad is now pain free. My beloved Dad was Leonard L. Rodig, #164857784.

GREAT NEWS - Our Tombstone Project has been launched. What an amazing project we have begun, with adding markers to unmarked graves in our Snohomish County, Washington cemeteries! Thank you all for your interest in our project. We are looking for donations for headstones for unmarked graves! www.stillygen.org. Wonderful community outreach and focus on historical preservation! Stay tuned for future information on our project!

My love for family history came from my parents and my grandmothers, Elsie Stockham and Minnie Rodig. Both of my Idaho grandmothers wrote down birth dates and death dates, and kept detailed family letters. And Mother loved to stop by every country cemetery she saw, while on their camping travels. They traveled around the country looking for family graves and new relatives. And had many exciting stories to share, and met wonderful families.

When we discovered that the Oregon Trail went through our Stockham family farm in Idaho, my love of history grew. And with it, sharing stories of my family and how they came west. What brave families to pioneer West!

I continue to hunt for family lines and fill in the blank spaces. Some of the families I am researching are Allen, Rodig, Franklin, Stabbal, Morgel, Stockham, Jones, Lynch, Follon/Fallon, Spangler, Quick, Smith, Johnson, Sherrill, Ferguson, Hamilton, Davis, Crawford, Gardiner, Blick (deBlieck) and Hensley.

The cemetery records are now maintained by Kent Boster. His father is the one who originally organized all of the records for the cemetery and all of Ottawa County.

His cell phone number is 1-785-488-6599. Good luck.

Hi Tami,
John Eliza is my 2nd Great Grandfather so we're related.
It's a busy time of the year for me so I'm not doing much Ancestry right now. I do have quite a bit of info & pictures on the family. If you send me your email address I could send you a link to my tree on Ancestry.com
My email is: rhog4@yahoo.com

Thanks, Sibyl

RE: Equality Colony Cemetery in Bow
Hello Tami,
No I have not had any luck finding the exact location of the Cemetery.
I am in contact with a woman who is doing her thesis on the Equality community.
Her contact is Julia Rowland julia.rowland55@gmail.com
She will send me information when and if she can find the cemetery.
I am happy you contacted me and added one more person that lost cemetery.
Margaret Josyln is my Great Great Aunt and It took me a lot of research to learn that she died and was Buried in the cemetery.
I see you are from Washington State. Do you live near Bow?
