Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am retired and enjoy working on genealogy as a hobby. I have a masters degree from the University of Oklahoma and I'm using my research skills to hunt down my ancestors. is a terrific web site.
My ancestors include but are not limited to:
Allison, Campbell, Morris, Johnson, Holdsworth, Baird, Kirkpatrick, Phillippi, Worley, Sweeney, Vaught, Watson, Dale, Wheeler, Hoyt, Newman

I make an effort to connect husbands, wives and families using obituaries and census records.

As many of you know, I have spent hours taking photos in the Rose Hill Burial Park in Oklahoma City in order to create memorials. I also do research in the Oklahoma Historical Society Library for some of my memorials.

Member: Oklahoma Historical Society, National Trust for Historic Preservation, Civil War Trust, Friends of Mt Vernon, Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, National Women's History Museum, Pulaski Co KY Historical Society, Cornerstone Genealogical Society (PA), Morrow Co OH Genealogical Society, Osborne Co KS Historical Society, Logan Co OK Genealogical Society.

Use the "Suggest a Correction" feature on the appropriate memorial to submit information or any requests. I follow the Find-A-Grave guidelines regarding the transfer of memorials. Any transfer requests should only be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

If you send a request for transfer of a memorial, please explain exactly how you descend, generation-by-generation, from that person.

My photos may be used in your family trees. They are not to be used in cemetery books/CDs that are to be sold.

Evelyn Walters
Mattie B. Robson Memorial 86197828
This Mattie is NOT daughter of Royal Stokely Cook and Judad Emeline Hipps Cook.

Their daughter's name was Martha Elizabeth with the same birth and death dates. But Aunt Marthy was buried in Holder Cemetery, Parker Co, Texas. She never married.

While she was a baby in the crib, a pine knot blew out of the fireplace and landed in her crib next to her head. Brother, William R. Cook cared for her until his death and afterwards Ruth Earl Cook Nash and Kittie Chloe Cook Cooper alternated in caring for her.

Thanks, Evelyn Cooper Walters

RE: Darthula Hall Phillippi Hale
It would be nice to add the obit to her memorial. However, I found it in one of my reference books that was compiled and copyrighted with all rights reserved.
It's near impossible to make contact with the copyright owner to ask permission to use it.

Could you remove one of the photos for this memorial so I can add a photo of him? There is a max of 6 photos and I can not add another for this memorial. Thanks. C J Smith

RE: George & Loretta Holtsinger
I took some other photos of other Holtsingers there, but it was so hot and I was having trouble with my legs (always in pain) that I had to get back to my car. I've not tried to match them with anyone yet - but I'll look. I was happy to get them - wish I could have done more while I was there.

RE: Areanah (Hannah) T.
I can't find a message to you about Hannah T's children. I don't have any listed in my records. I must have had a long day and sent you children for someone else. I am so sorry. Disregard my information.
