Bio and Links
Bio Photo I turned 82 on December 22, 2015 and have been doing family history research for about 9 years. I have amassed a lot of information and photos on the four family lines from my parents, and particularly from the Simpkins line. While no longer very active in research, there could be few retirement projects more engrossing, perplexing, fun and satisfying. I love meeting new online friends through this interest and sharing information, such as the few entries I have made in Find-a-Grave.

Primary names in my family history research are Simpkins, Huddleston, Richardson and Johnson.

Thank You!
Thomas Daniel is my direct ancestor
5 generations; my great-great-great-grandfather! Sarah Catherine Huddleston Daniel is my 1st cousin 3 times removed. I appreciate all of your diligent and hard work and I especially enjoy finding such treasures as the pictures of my ancestors! I too, have found such pleasure in researching...thanks again, and God Bless.

Simpkins Parent Links
Bill, I will add those family links to both memorials as requested. I'm glad you found them; and I'm glad to help link them all up. Thanks!

Hale and Simpkins
Are you a descendant of Emily Louella Hale and her Simpkins husband? I just recently found where she ended up (I'm a Hale descendant of one of her close cousins). I'd love to know more about her and her family. You can email me at Thanks! JC

RE: Johnson Chapel Cemetery
Yes, it is such a shame. So many burials and no records to know who is where or who is who. So sad.

RE: Johnson Chapel Cemetery
I've listed all the graves in that cemetery. (There is also a picture of the cemetery.) It's kind of strung out and open. There is one tomb box that is totally unmarked that I did not add and many, many unmarked graves designated with only fieldstones.

RE: Visit Johnson Chapel Cem
It's really no bother. Please let him know that. If he changes his mind, just let me know!
