I have been doing my families genealogy for over 20 years and came upon this site a few years back. It has been a great help in my searches for connecting to my past history. I really enjoy helping others in finding their past history and I hope the pictures and memorials I add help others in their searches.|
If possible "Please" help out your photo volunteers by obtaining the plot information from the cemetery and adding it to your request. Also if you remark that you are requesting both spouses, please submit a seperate request for each spouse. Remember you are asking the volunteers to help you on their own time. Making it easier on them means they spend less time trying to gather/research the data in trying to find the grave locations, which in turn means they can get to the cemetery to full fill your requests that much quicker.
As many of us are related to the same surnames, please only request direct line ancestors for transfers as are in the Find A Grave Guidelines. This means: Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be YOUR siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. I will gladly add any information provided via the suggestion tool. Sorry folks, but family always comes first.
If I have accidentally added a duplicate record please let me know and I will promptly remove it.
Oh and 1 more small thing.
ONLY post photos for which YOU hold the copyright (meaning photos you took)!!!
The copyright of all photos posted to Find A Grave remains with the original submitter. No use of photos for any other website or personal use is given without prior consent of the original submitter.

Thank you so much for adding the photo of Ruth’s headstone. She was one of many cousins of my father.
|Cindy Cremer||Thank you|
I want to thank you so much for taking the pictures of my Dad, Daniel Paul Cole's grave. I never knew my biological dad and have been searching for him. My search finally led me to his brother who informed me he passed away several years ago. He told me where he was buried and I was able to do a search but there wasn't a picture. You have been such a comfort to me. I live in Texas and won't be able to visit for awhile. Your photo means everything to me. God bless you for caring and taking time to do this. You have in a way connected a daughter and her long lost father. I will never forget this kindness.

I corrected my aunt's name. The B was not her middle name...it was her maiden name -- Brunette. It might interest you to know that she was quite the genealogy aficionado and worked on quite a number of family histories. She not only did a lot of work on her own family's history, but while she and my uncle were stationed in Germany she was able to find quite a bit of the Hannemann history and were able to meet far flung relatives while there. As far as I know each niece and nephew on the Hannemann side received their own "heritage" notebook as she called them. These notebooks contain not only our Hannemann family tree, but a written account of all of her extensive work done in Germany. When my children were born she gave to each of them a wonderful family tree of both my family lineage as well as my husband's. She was quite a lovely person and a wonderful aunt to all of us. I also added a memorial for my uncle Eugene (183520805)
