Dear Karen, Thank you for taking the picture of Roscoe Bandy and Minnie Eva Bandy's Markers. I noticed you also took the one of Julia and Charles
Bandy. That would be Roscoe's parents. Roscoe married Minnie who had been married before to someone else and she already had a child, Floyd Martin who was my Dad. He was married to her when my sister and I were born, so although he is not my grandfather by blood,he is my grandfather by LOVE. He is the only grandfather I ever knew.
My sister and I loved him very much and he loved us just like we were his very own. He was a kind and gentle man. We grew up on their farm in East Texas. He taught us so much and we will forever miss him. After my grandmother passed away, He remarried his first wife, Essie Cox Bandy. She was laid to rest there too! I am so thankful to people like you, who take the time to take pictures and help record the past. I am forever grateful.

RE: Frank Laurent
hi karen, i checked ancestry, and i think if i remember right there were several listings for people that had him in some part of thier family. even if it is on ancestry i always check and make sure that the information is correct. also you can check LDS (Later Day Saints) site. any time i see a listing on F.A.G. that has only the years or not complete dates i try to find the information, cause a lot of times people who post doin't have the time or the resorses to check. good luck with your research.
