Colorado Springs Police Officers killed in the line of duty and were fellow Officers and friends with my brother.

There is a special place in my heart for the Moore, OK tornado victims and for the whole town. My husband and I lived in Moore and Norman in 1989-1992. Our only child was born there during that time.

My husband's niece's husband, Mark Byrd passed away Aug. 15, 2014. He was 41 years old.

My niece's husband, Aric Fleury passed away Jan. 31, 2012. He was 26 years old. It breaks my heart. I'm sure my mom is taking very good care of him!!

My mother, Marie Wolf Doll Lemesany, passed away May 18, 2011. I miss her so much!

My father-in-law, Ewell "Gene" McGowan passed away Sept. 22, 2010.

My brother, Steve passed away July 30, 2008. It was on our mother's 82nd birthday. She was never the same after he passed away. They are together now.

My step-father, Richard Lemesany was one in a million!! He married my Mom when I was almost 13. We only had him for a little over 10 years but he made our lives so much better while he was with us.

My father, Louis Doll, Jr., passed away in 1971 when I was 6 years old. Researching his side of the family has been a challenge. He was born in Monument, Liberty Township, Centre, PA. His parents were from Munson, Clearfield Co., PA. He was raised in Wharton, Morris Co., NJ, and was stationed at Camp Carson (now Fort Carson) in Colorado Springs when he met my mother in Dec. 1946. She was born in St Charles, MO and was raised in Colo. Spgs., CO. My mom was Miss Camp Carson in 1945.

I was born in NJ, raised in Colorado Springs, El Paso Co., CO, and now live in Barren Co., KY.

Researching the following:
St Charles Co., Mo- Wolf, Gentemann, LePage, Himmelsbach, Klinghammer, plus other branches and twigs!!

Clearfield Co., PA- Doll, Bailey, McDonald, Jenney, Hendershot, plus some unknowns!! Please wish me luck!!

Wharton, Morris Co., NJ- Doll

Russell Co. KY- McGowan, Harris, Tucker, Popplewell and others

If you are doing research in Glasgow, these are great websites.

Glasgow Municipal Cemetery list. It is not up to date.

Yes, he is buried in Mount Olivet (you had made a note on his memorial that you weren't sure). There is a newspaper article about his death in the Washington Post of May 7, 1924. He was a jeweler and died in hospital of injuries sustained in a car accident.

RE: Baldridge family
Regarding your message below, I checked my sources for the people involved and the names were retrieved from two family tree web sites. I have not had time to verify them as yet. I understand your reluctance in using the edits. Please disregard them.

Thank you for the information from Robert Baldridge's death certificate.

----------------------------------------------
I am doing the edits for Ellen Manuel while she is ill. You sent her edits for the Baldridge family. Please forward your sources for the middle initial of C. of Sanders "Sandy" Baldridge, the nickname Robin for Robert T. Baldridge, and the nickname Hixie for Ann Hickerson Worsham Baldridge. Also, the death certificate for Robert lists Thomas for his middle name and you requested Thompson.
Thank you

RE: Clarence Barksdale-40996223
thank you for contacting me...I found that someone had placed a duplicate memorial for the V D Barksdale 155896071, I had contacted the person that made the duplicate and apparently they deleted it, so now I am having to re-do what I did, to the correct memorial...hope that makes sense

RE: Alice Genevive Gassaway Forrest, Memorial #32665798
"Alice Genevive Gassaway Forrest, you requested Metcalfe County as birth location. Her DC only has KY."

Alice was born in 1865. Her parents, Patrick H. Gassaway and Amanda (Polson) Gassaway, were enumerated in METCALFE County on the 1860 census, and again on the 1870 census when Alice appeared in their household. Further, Amanda's parents were enumerated in METCALFE County in 1860. (Her father died there in 1875, so it's likely he was living there at the time.)

As I stated previously, I am a descendant of James and Mary Elizabeth and have been researching the line over 20 years. I originally received much of my information from my maternal grandmother, Grace (Smith) Huston, and have since verified most of it with documentary evidence.

I hope this helps.

RE: Laura G. Leamon, Memorial #15874246
"you requested Metcalfe County for birth and death location. Ellen's tree has her birth location as Barren County. You also requested her middle name to be listed as Gee Green. Ellen tree has G S as her middle initials. So please also send a source for middle names."

Laura was born in 1866. Although her parents, James Gillespie Leamon and Mary Elizabeth Branstetter, were married in Barren County, Kentucky, and enumerated there on the 1850 census, they were enumerated in METCALFE County on the 1860 and subsequent censuses. (Also, both sets of grandparents were enumerated in METCALFE County on 1860 and 1870 censuses.)

As for the name, Laura was clearly enumerated as "Laura G G" on the 1870 and 1880 censuses of Metcalfe County. "Gee" is a surname found in the area; I'm not sure about the source of "Green".

I am a descendant of James and Mary Elizabeth and have been researching the line over 20 years. I originally received much of my information from my maternal grandmother, Grace (Smith) Huston, and have since verified most of it with documentary evidence. (Coincidentally, Grace's husband's oldest sister married a "Gee".)

I hope this helps.

RE: Letitia Jane (Leamon) Johnson, Memorial #27928337
"... you requested Barren County for birth location. Her DC only has KY and Ellen's tree has Metcalfe County."

Letitia's parents, James Gillespie Leamon and Mary Elizabeth Branstetter, were married 19 Nov 1846 in BARREN County, Kentucky. Letitia was born in 1847 and was enumerated in her parents' household on the 1850 census - in BARREN County. (Also, both sets of grandparents were enumerated in BARREN County on that census.)

James and Mary Elizabeth (and their parents) weren't enumerated in Metcalfe County until the 1860 census.

I am a descendant of James and Mary Elizabeth and have been researching the line over 20 years. I originally received much of my information from my maternal grandmother, Grace (Smith) Huston, and have since verified most of it with documentary evidence.

I hope this helps.
