Started researching the family roots about 1990. researching the names ROBERTSON, WAGGONER, DECKARD, SEXTON, HAMMOND, ALEXANDER, BROWN, SWANGO, GIBSON, COWLES, TAYLOR, VANCE, AND GRAMLIN. Have just recently started taking digital cemetery pictures of stones to add to family tree collections. |
I decided to start contributing these pictures on line to share with other's in search of these Ancestors.
These bios and pictures may not be published for sale or sumitted to websites that charge a subscription.

DO NOT USE BLEACH TO CLEAN WHITE MILITARY STONES AS IT WILL TURN THEM YELLOW AND THE DAMAGE CANNOT BE UNDONE.

Janet, Thanks for your most kind deed in transferring Edwin's memorial #111159518 to me.

Janet, Thanks for adding the memorial for Edwin and adding the additional information in the bio section. Thanks for offering to transfer his memorial to me, I am related, but not that close. I like to go way out researching to help others. I love Find A Grave, I have found so many kind and helpful people. Thanks again.

Hi thanks - yes I did see that as well and also Erwin Field's obituary mentioned his son. And I've seen where a census taker has assumed that all children had the same last name - wrongly! Guess some census takers were better than others. Have a great weekend.

I had a question please about Evan Fields and his mother Lucinda Black Allman Carr. Would you know when and where did Lucinda and Evan's father Erwin Fields marry? I found the MC for Lucinda Black and Samuel Allman; and also the one for Lucinda Allman and Hamilton "Hamlin" Carr. But in the 1910 and 1920 Federal censuses, Evan is listed with the last name Allman instead of Fields so it really threw me off for a bit thinking that Samuel Allman might be Evan's biological father instead of Erwin Fields. Thanks very much!

I'm trying to locate the contributor(s) who supplied the interment data and photos for the Knightridge Cemetery in Monroe County, near Bloomington, Indiana. I would like to consult with the person or persons who recorded and uploaded the data for this site. We are currently in the process of creating a comprehensive map of the premises.
Thanks in advance for any assistance,

Thank you for processing all those edits as well! I kind of stopped working on Walnut Ridge's new section last year. I concentrated on finishing what was left to photograph at Kraft-Graceland, which I did finally finish. I didn't want to leave unfinished what I had been doing at Walnut Ridge, so I started where I had left off. I think I have just 16 more rows there to photograph. I know that you have been working on the cemetery for quite a long time! And I'm so sorry to hear that you are dealing with health issues. Take care, and I will update you when I have finished the new section. Thanks again!

Concerning Capt.. Thomas B. Carr Sr, Find A Grave Memorial Number 42686207. I'm curious if you have any documentation on his middle initial, he is my 4Xs go grandfather and I have seen this initial used a lot but I have not been able to find any historical documentation to substantiate it. Thank you in advance.
