I was born and raised in Perryville, MO and graduated from PHS in 1966. I married Ralph J. Buchheit and in 1978, we moved to Oklahoma City, OK because of Ralph's position with General Motors.

I retired from the Federal Aviation Administration in 2004 and have spent much time since then with researching our family tree.

I'm a new member of Find A Grave, but have been delving into my ancestry through any web site, book, newspaper, etc., I can find. I'm also a member of Ancestry.com. I don't think I'm obsessed with this research (well, maybe I am) but, I certainly spend a lot of time on it.

I'll do what I can on Find A Grave...comparing my records to their's, etc., and eventually I'd like to be a photo contributor. Time doesn't allow this right now...maybe the future.
