Find a Grave reminder
Please do not post news article clippings or obituary scans in the photo section of memorials. This is against Find a Grave policy, detailed in the FAQs. Only photos of the person's grave headstone and grave site, plus a portrait photo of the person if available (personal photos that you own only), should be posted in the photo section.

Thank you,

Find a Grave Administration

Re: photo section
No, it's not a copyright issue (the section 107 copyright disclaimer does not apply, anyway. Please do not post that as your bio), it's a Find a Grave policy/rules issue. Only photos of the person's grave headstone and grave site, plus a portrait photo of the person if available (personal photos that you own only), should be posted in the photo section.

RE: Edgar S. Farmer
My last message was probably confusing. Elizabeth Farmer's father, Luther Farmer, was Harriett's son. So Edgar would be Elizabeth's uncle; I might have said brother in my previous message. But she used to tell us that story so often! About being at the foot of his bed as he passed away.

Edgar had a granddaughter, Nadine Johnson, who now goes by the name Carolyn N. Johnson; I have talked to her, at that time, she was employed at McDonalds, near the intersection of I-85 and Highway 9, near Spartanburg. She confirmed the relationship.

RE: Edgar S. Farmer
Elizabeth Farmer, who died a year or so ago, was a first cousin to my wife, who held her Power of Attorney for many years and conducted most of her business affairs. Elizabeth was the daughter of Luther Farmer and Eva Barnett. She was the sister of Edgar S. Farmer and was at his bedside when he died. She used to tell us this story many times.

I just completed adding 950 pictures of grave stones. I can't edit them all. So you might want to make additions or corrections.

Thanks for the good work
Bill

RE: Louise McAbee
My mother and Aunt Louise were sisters. I guess we are cousins by marriage.

RE: Louise McAbee
I added the only obituary of Larry that I had. I didn't have one for Aunt Louise. Aunt Louise was my mother's sister. They were living here is Salisbury when she passed away. Thanks, Debbie

Thank you for trying to help me straighten this out. Truly I did not mean to offend but some people this bothers and rules are rules for a reason. I find 4 memorials that are yours. N. Leonard Mott 75695722, Edna Mott Bridges 54045260, Thelma Mott Hill 56840850 and Lillian Mott Dale 54184298. Thanks again.

Info. in the comment section
I believe I had made a terrible mistake. I found your memorials for some of my family members. I think there are about 15 of them. I left messages that include my link to them and who their parents were. I did not know at the time this is apparently wrong. I am so very sorry. I can not figure out how to delete my messages but I do wish to delete them because of the rules. Can you please tell me how to delete them? They are all from people named: Mott in Rutherford, N. C.. Again, I am sorry and will not make this mistake again.

Thank you,
Sherrie Allen
