Bio and Links
Bio Photo I found this on another members profile and it truly expresses how I feel as well:
"The life of a person is more than the dash between two dates. It is my hope that the memorials which I create or manage can make the individuals life fuller, even if just linking to family members or adding a few tidbits of information. Researching and including other family information makes them more than graves, they are people.

My Mom @-->--Ruth Bursey Lavash
Her parents: William Nelson Bursey
Flora Lillian Bradbury Bursey
Her Grandparents:William Robert Bursey
Mary Brown Bursey
Her Great Grandparents:Stephen Brown
Catherine Porter Brown

My Dad's parents:Raymond Lavash
Ellen Veronica Hynes Lavash
My Dad's Grandparents:Caroline Sampson Lavash
and Ernest Paul Lavash

I'm searching for information for the following Families: Lavash, Lavache, Hynes, Higgins, Donohoe,Bursey, Bradbury, Brown, Demeo, Hayes, Sawin. I've been researching my roots for over 20 years and have now started to record cemeteries for others. I've also started adding any Irish and Canadians that I come across, in tribute to my ancesters, military graves & any children that I find - they seem to be the hardest to find & I'm recording them as I find them.

A coin left on a headstone lets the deceased soldier's family know that somebody stopped by to pay their respect. Leaving a penny means you visited. A nickel means that you and the deceased soldier trained at boot camp together. If you served with the soldier, you leave a dime. A quarter is very significant because it means that you were there when that soldier died".

This is an abbreviated list of cemeteries that I have visited so far - I've visited some of these because I have family members there -
Belmont Cemetery - Belmont, MA
Calvary Cemetery & Maus. - Waltham, MA
Cambridge Cemetery - Cambridge, MA
Common Street Cemetery - Watertown, MA
Cudworth Cemetery - Scituate, MA
Evergreen Cemetery - Marboro, Ma
Evergreen Cemetery - Leominster, MA
Grove Hill Cemetery - Waltham, MA
Highland Meadow Cemetery - Belmont, MA
Holy Cross Cemetery & Maus. - Malden, MA
Mt. Auburn Cemetery - Watertown/Cambridge, MA
Mt. Feake Cemetery - Waltham, MA
Mt. Pleasant Cemetery - Arlington, MA
Westview Cemetery, Bedford, MA
North Cambridge Catholic Cemetery - Cambridge, MA
Olde Burying Place - Arlington, MA
Old Burying Ground, AKA Ye Olde Burying Ground in Lexington, MA
Old Burying Place - Watertown, MA
Puritan Lawn Cemetery - Peabody, MA
Ridgelawn Cemetery - Watertown, MA
St. Pauls Cemetery - Arlington, MA
St. Patricks Cemetery - Watertown, MA
Woodlawn Cemetery & Crem. - Everett, MA
and a few others

I normally photograph the whole family plot if it's more than a single grave & will post those as well.

Thank you to Linda Shepard Salzer for all her pics, corrections and updates for all the memorials that I set up for North Cambridge Catholic Cemetery - I greatly appreciate it:)

Instructions: How do I add a link from one memorial to another?

In order to create a link in the biography of one memorial to someone else's memorial (such as the person's spouse or parent), you will need to use a bit of HTML code. It's hard to put into words, so here is an example (from Johnny Carson's biography which has a link to Red Skelton's memorial page): Pioneering Television Legend, Comic, Host. Carson began his entertainment career in radio but quickly moved to television. He moved to Hollywood to become a writer for "The Red Skelton Show."

In the biography, you would need to type
< a href="http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=XXXXXXX">Name< /a>

where XXXXXXX is the GRid number of the memorial you want to link. The GRid is a unique id for each memorial and as such is the only thing within the entire URL that must be included. The "Name" is what will show up on the screen as a link.

You will need to remove the space between < and a at the beginning as well as the space between the < and / at the end. The spaces were added here to actually show you the code.

You can also use "Add relationship links" on the memorial page. You can add the links to father, mother, and multiple spouses. Adding this information will automatically post the reverse information to the linked memorial as well.

James and Josephine Rose photos
Hi Sharon, Thank you so much for trying to locate the actual headstones for James and Josephine at Mt. Auburn. There is such an infamous family tragedy associated with this couple that forever changed their children's lives. Infamous in our family, anyhow. Josephine Salas is my 4th great aunt, making James Rose my 4th great uncle. Thanks again. I hope I can return the kindness someday. Charlene

RE: Michael Donovan
Hi, yes, sorry. I forgot I had left the request and found the pic elsewhere. Thank you. I need other info on him, like a death certificate etc., but nothing related to this site. Thank you for responding.

RE: Charles Allen Mooney photo request
Location in the cemetery is not necessary. Give me a week or so because I am out of state currently. I will go ahead and claim the request and upon completion you will be notified, approximately 10-days to 2 weeks from now.

Thanks,

Glora Dei

Charles Allen Mooney photo request
Unless a grave monument already exists, the usual time frame for placement of a monument is usually several months. Are you just wanting a photo of the gravesite with the floral tributes from the funeral?
