Bio and Links
Bio Photo Taphophilia (a passion and enjoyment of cemeteries) has been my main hobby since the late 1970's when I was a junior in high school. I discovered that cemeteries in and around Los Angeles were the best places to hide from truant officers. It was in these adopted sanctuaries that I began to appreciate my surroundings: the grounds, the headstones, the architecture, the artwork and most importantly, the residents.

In October of 2010, I founded The Traveling Taphophiles, a group that sets out once a month to visit cemeteries. Our travels have taken us as far as New Orleans. I'm fortunate to have met others that share my hobby and to have forged some great friendships along the way.

Once photos have been posted, feel free to use them as you wish - photo credit isn't necessary.

Happy Graving ~

Louis DuMort

I miss Chris and Martha with all my heart.

RE: Bill Gazzarri memorial
Should I delete the old memorial and create a new one?

Louis - The only reason I know what a Vincent Rapide is because Mark Knopfler sang about one in a nice duet he did with Emmy Lou Harris. A bad machine. The one that got me was NSU. Oblivious to the existence of such a thing, but some were way cool. Thanks...

Hey Louis -

Hope all is well. Shock sends this one. Nice one.

I tuned in to the Mecum Vintage Bike auction on TV. Saw very cool things I didn't even know existed.

Sonny West burial location

Sonny West is buried in Crestwood Memory Gardens, Gallatin, Tennessee. You can call them during the week at 1.615.452.1943 and they will provide you with the burial plot location of Sonny West.

I am the author of the newly created Wikipedia entry on Sonny West (actor) found at which verifies this.
