Bio Photo Anyone who visits my memorials, are welcome to the photos that I have posted. Also, if you would like a memorial transferred to you, I am more than willing, unless they are a close relative of mine. I am not stingy; I am a true volunteer. My purpose of posting on findagrave, is to help others. I truly feel that was the intended purpose of findagrave, plus remembering those who have passed. I will not hunt you down and leave you ugly notes. Just remember to "pay it forward". Kindheartedness and being charitable is a far better feeling, than being selfish.

Elizabeth Standish Averill
Hello Eellitta,
I am updating my legacy files with F-A-G Memorials and noticed that you have one for a Elizabeth Averill which you have linked to John Q Averill as his mother.

John Q does have a mother who is more than likely Elizabeth Standish Averill, but not the Elizabeth Averill to whom he is linked.

The information from the New York papers which lists an Elizabeth Averill as passing in June 1857 is not Elizabeth Standish Averill. You will note that this Elizabeth is the w of Elisha.

Elizabeth Standish Averill is the spouse of Palmer Hiram Averill.
There are three of us who are currently working on the Averill Family which is confusing due to the many folks with the same name. Even though we are trying to sort out the various PH and HP Averill's, we are almost certain that Elizabeth Standish of Lincolnshire England is the spouse of PH Averill, born in 1805.

Thankyou for unlinking John Q Averill from the Elizabeth who is the wife of Elisha.

Elizabeth Standish Averill was born about 1805, if as you state, she died in 1857 she would have been 52 not 29 as indicated on the NY News Article.

I appreciate the work you have done on the Averill's, but it is important to make sure the connections are accurate. As we all know, it is a challenge to keep these folks straight and not perpetuate errors.

I looked back in my records and you are correct, I have the birth year wrong, it is 1949. Thank you for catching my error. I will correct it.

Thanks for the information on John. Are you a relative or would you like a transfer of this memorial?

Anton Burtol "Tony" Fadich
You put in a request for pictures of Anton Burtol "Tony" Fadich's grave.
I discovered that his wife Maude is buried beside him. Nobody has made a page for her yet. Do you want to do that? 1890-1976 are her birth and death years.
If you make the page for Maude could you put in a request for pictures of her grave too? Then I can get the pics for her grave too while I am there and "kill two birds with one stone" right?

Just wanted to get back to you on your question from a few days ago. No, I'm not related to Elsie.
