Bio and Links
Bio Photo Please do not place Death Certificates on memorials I have created. I find it distasteful and disrespectful to the family.

Most of the people I have entered into Find A Grave are not my relatives nor did I know them. If you would like any of the memorials I have created let me know and I'll probably transfer them to you if they aren't my relatives.

A proud member of One Foot In The Grave.

The following link will display all of the cemeteries in Find A Grave that are in Harris County, Texas. From there you can get to any county and state to see their cemeteries.

A site to calculate the Date of Birth from headstones when age at death is given -

Please don't leave me a message if there is no way to reply to you. I feel that this is a very rude thing to do and in the future such messages will be ignored and deleted.

RE: Allen Lewis Stowell
I added Allen and his co-fliers to my 1943 VC. Thanks for passing on the info.

There is no record of him at Fort Sam, Lynn D Decker is the veteran buried at that location.

RE: Henry H Hicks
Thanks Bruce! Though I have not done much work on the 71st, I have added Henry to my Virtual Cemetery for the 71st. Perhaps, someday, I will get to work on that unit more as well. Thanks again and keep up the good work. Hope this finds you well. Baxter

RE: Death Certificates
Please tell me which memorials I added death certificates and I will gladly remove them. Thanks.

RE: Kate Coles Burke
I really do not care. I am not related, I am researching a parish history. I send additions to be helpful, not to start a fight.
Have fun guarding your memorials.

RE: Kate Coles Burke
I attached the detail of her marriage lines to your memorial. If you want incomplete information you go right ahead.

Hi Bruce,
I did not see your message when I placed the death certificate. I was only trying to provide proof of the discrepancy for the dates.
I have removed it, but please know that no disrespect was meant.
I photographed the entire cemetery and have been adding many photos and a lot of missing data, I did not read your bio prior.

My Sincerest apologies,

RE: Charles Engler
Thanks for the edits Bruce!

Perry kept in contact with his Boyce cousins here and several of them eventually retired to Brownsville, all widows. Until I was contacted by one of Perry's sister Helen's descendants, I wondered how in the world these ladies from upstate NY ended up practically in Mexico at the end of their lives, but now it all makes sense.

I hope you have a good weekend,
