Born Nassawadox, Northampton, Virginia 7 November 1946 to Geraldine Virginia Powell and Lorus Eugene Dudley. Geraldine Virginia Powell 1923-2004 is the daughter of Victor Mapp Powell 1896-1961 and Emory Sara Lee Mapp 1905-1954 All born and raised in Northampton and Accomack Counties, Virginia. I
was raised in Burley, Idaho and went to all the local elementary schools and graduated from Burley High School. My children are William Troy Coleman, Air Force, Air National Guard and now Homeland Security. Married to Kari Uranic and have two children Amber Nicole Coleman and Bradley William Coleman. My first daughter was in the Air Force for 28 years. She served in many areas and was in Afganistan during the hot time. She was a Master Sergeant at retirement and recieved many awards. She is married to a Master Sergeant also Jackie Powell and has two sons Bryan and Jacob Powell. They have one grand daughter Kaydance Olivia Powell, a little red head and a fire storm if you get in her way. Melissa Louise Coleman is married to David Thomas Young a career Marine. They have been all over the world and he to has served in Afganistan at Camp leather neck in the middle of no where. They have four children. Morgan Alexas Young going to school in Southern Virginia University and now on a mission for her church. Then they have one son David Tyler Young a senior at Granger High School where he is Sr Class President, sings with the madrigals and wrestles. At 6 ft 4 in he is quite a match. Madison is next, the original singer and actress all rolled up into one. In her first year of High School. Then comes the little one. Miley Quinn Young. You guessed it the favorite of the family. She too thinks she wants to be a singer when she grows up. Then I had a little daughter Monica Jerriann who passed in 1981. After which we had Michell Nicole who was the wife a Naval Person for several years. They have two little ones Arabella and Teague. Beautiful all of my family. As for me, I have spent most of my life in the study of family. I have had several books published and published by Heritage Books right there in Maryland. My big one is Early Americans with Royal Descent. The immigrants was here in the US before 1777 and I spent many years at the Genealogical library getting the information compiled until it was ready for print. Did several census books when books were popular. Now the computer has taken over. I love genealogical research and would rather sit down with a good record book than most anything else I am married to Michael Rudy Scherzinger a retired Fire Fighter from Salt Lake City. We are retired sort of. And keep busy with the grandchildren and keeping the home fires burning. I love my heritage and family from the Eastern Shore and so often wished I was there just to snoop around the whole of Virginia's Eastern Sea board. What a time I would have.
