Born in Brooklyn, NY, I have lived in Long Island, NY(Brookhaven, Yaphank & East Moriches); Connecticut near Hartford; New Jersey (Allenwood, Herbertsville, West Point Pleasant, Point Pleasant Beach and Brick). I have resided in Warminster, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, just north of Philadelphia since 1966. I'm active with AARP's Chapters, Driver Safety Program and Volunteer Development.|
Retired from IBM in 1991 after 32 years as a Service Technician and Instructor. Retired from NJ Army National Guard in 1997 after 43 years as a traditional Guardsman (M-Day). I still serve with the NG Military Museum of NJ, Sea Girt, NJ, and the Military Funeral Honor Guard programs in NJ and PA.
Interested in taking better care of our Veteran Gravesites - everywhere. Let's work toward getting all our veterans located and documented on line. (Check out the FindAGrave site of Preston Wallace, Beverly National Cemetery, NJ - Memorial# 5650925)

Researching Family Genealogy for the following names: Rauanheimo, Järnefelt, Wrangen, Millbrooke, Wallace, Borrelli, Wrangen, Montana, Elliot, Bird, McMahon, O'Hagan;

- A SEPARATE PROJECT:
The Veterans Interment Record Project in NJ is an effort to build an index of all veterans interred in New Jersey.
Any help would be appreciated.
As many others do, I post information shown on Memorial markers for many reasons and from public obituaries. My personal notes are only added to my family members. I will transfer upon request.
I welcome photo requests when the location is included. You should ask the cemetery office for that information. Many cemetery offices will only honor requests from family (and usually not for numerous names.)
Thanks for your notes. I appreciate them and only delete them to keep open requests where I can see them. Thanks again, RayR.

I'm not sure where I would get information about a long-defunct cemetery. You might see if the Mercer Museum Library has any info. If they don't, I don't know who else would.
|Tree Leaf||RE: George Eaton suggestion|
Thank you very much.
Yes, I agree.

Please transfer to me the memorial of:
Fred Schellinger (Memorial# 76060030)
I am a Schellinger descendant and would like to add information on Fred and link him to his relations.

Your memorial for Harold Vernon Puffer is a duplicate of 106526480.
His gravestone is at a different cemetery in NY state.

Other than mis-spelling the name...I have no knowledge of the area. I created the cemetery because I could not find one. If you can help me out, I would be more than happy to change it...many thanks
|Chuck Huften||William Brower|
Interested in knowing if you have any source information on the William Brower buried in Potters Field Suffolk Co Almhouse Cemetery. I am searching for my ancestor William and his wife Clarissa and the last thing I can document is the census in Marlborough Co NY in 1860. Have no idea where they went from there but their son John and his family went to Susquehanna Co., PA. per the 1870 census listed as BROWN. Was your information off the headstone or from documents held by that cemetery. Thanks in advance. Chuck 410-279-3795
|Ian Macaulay||thank you very much|

|Hilda Hartman Ennis||RE: Forest Hills|
It is listed in Morrisville, Bucks County, and I went to a military funeral there for my friend, Laura Weber, a couple of months ago. There are a lot of interments listed but is quite a large cemetery!
It must be a newer one and no one seems to know that it exists.
Take a ride and see for yourself.
|Louise||Forest Hills Cemetery|
I noticed you contacting a few people about this other Forest Hill Cemetery in Morrisville, Bucks Co. Already, there are 32 interments in this FICTITIOUS cemetery. Its driving me crazy. I thought about contacting each submission about the mistake - but better yet how can a fake cemetery be eliminated so it doesn't continue?
