I love this site so I can enhance my ancestors memorials. It is a tribute to those who have passed on before us, gives relatives a chance to see their family member's headstones and information gathered on the memorial, and help with family research. I have been doing family research since 1978.|
To request a memorial to be transferred to you:
Go to the "Edit" tab in the upper right of the memorial, put in your relationship to the memorial, and your memorial #.
PLEASE to not post birth or marriage certificates or obituaries NOR put in the flower tab any information about the deceased. Send me in the "edit" tab to put this in the "Bio" section.
Thank you for all that have contributed to the memorials which are in my charge. And thanks to the ones that take pictures for me.
Virtual Cemeteries: I have thousands more names which I have not put in since researching in 1978.
I will not transfer if they are apart of my own family or friends. Some of the lines I am researching are Masters, Chamblee, Keith, Kay, Hoffman, Veitch, Harding, Randolph, Isham, Totherow, Whitworth, Cartright, Murray, Magnusson, Bird, Stapley, Bliss, Pomeroy, Cunningham, Roth, Harding, Quinlan, Barrow, Norris, Stumpf and Hannum, McGrath, Flynn, Guard, Heydon.
Because of the passing of contributor's Kathy McConnell and ancestorsatrest, I have been given a good portion of their memorials to take care of. If you are related, I will transfer to you.
Elaine Berger has transferred the Mt. Pleasant City Cemetery memorials for me to take care of.

|Allen Whitworth||Sarah Whitworth|
Thought I would let you know Sarah was married to Jessie Hays which was the unknown Hair she was married to
|Diana Hughes Barney||Sorensen family in Mendon|
Thank you so much for transferring the Sorensen family children to me. Neither of the children who grew to adulthood had posterity. I was so happy to be able to add to their memorials.

Thank you for creating a memorial for my friend. I just foundout she passed away.
Meant to thank-you for adding pictures to some of my memorials at BHNC and for catching my boo-boo where I had someone's birth year as 1923 instead of 1953....geesh leave it to me.Oh well..mistakes happen and sometimes I get a case of what I laughingly call "Happy Fingers"...

Hi there :
Thank you so much for the nice note(s) that you left for me.The 1st one really almost had me in tears as sometimes I feel that our military,be it retired Veterans and their families or our active duty and their families don't get nearly the praise/appreciation that they all so richly deserve...
I have been blessed so much simply by being able to remember our military in this way and the heart felt thanks I get from their families and kind folks such as yourself 😊 We all deserve to be remembered and this is my way of honoring and remembering our Veterans and their families...
I personally will have not only the privilege but also the honor to be at Black Hills National Cemetery on 8 September for my beloved parents memorial service as they will be inurned on that date...
My Dad had a "bucket list" of which he wasn't able to check off everything on it as he passed away from cancer when he was only 58 years old.One of the things on his "bucket list" that was left unchecked was his desire to ride on a motorcycle.
I contacted the Patriot Guard Riders and they will be escorting my parents urn on a motorcycle to the cemetery on 8 September.This date is very special to me as it also happens to be my Dad's
birthday and he would have turned 85 this year.I'll be able to put a check mark beside the motorcycle ride on his "bucket list" in my heart as I fulfilled it for him 💗
I'm glad you was able to see Black Hills National Cemetery as you was passing through as it is such a beautiful and peaceful place...
Take care ,
~ Beth ~

|Janice (O'Bryan) Byington||RE: Alma Whitworth #7257457|
Thank you for adding that bit of info. Wish we could have asked on of our relatives living in that time period....grins. Yes, I'm always wishing that. Keep Smiling.
|computer helper||RE: Death Date for Wealtha Babcock|
I would be happy to take over the record for Wealtha Babcock. I am distantly related to her.
|computer helper||Death Date for Wealtha Babcock|
My uncle (C. Merton Babcock) lists in his unpublished book "Saturday's Children" that Wealtha Babcock #42877018, died on June 5, 1877. I don't know if he got his information from public records or what. I assume that the June 4 date is listed on the grave stone although it is not pictured. Just letting you know there is a discrepancy.
