Neely Capel Cemetery
After visiting Neely Chapel Cemetery today, November 27, 2016, I realized there could not possibly be that amount of memorials. After researching the names listed, many are duplicates made by you. I was trying to fulfill photo requests and have many for you, but when I looked at the site the photos and information are already entered by another member. This has made documentation of this cemetery difficult and appear false. If you would like to manage the memorials you have created please contact the previous memorial creators and have them pass the memorial on to you to control the page.

Nancy Cushenberry
I just returned from the Liberty Cemetery in an effort to take a picture of Nancy Cushenberry's gravestone. However, the gravestone for a Nancy Cushenberry was for a child rather than a grown lady. She was the daughter of Robert W. and Nancy E. Cushenberry. Do you want me to post it on Find A Grave or what? Gale Yocum

John Andrew Nichols
Did you get my edit for John Nichols whose parents were Hiram #52383722 and Elizabeth #48965988 Nichols? Hiram is my wife's great-grandfather.
We are trying to link all the children. Thanks,
Roger & Martha

RE: Martha McLane Hart, Memorial# 112030476
Hello Paul. The David McLane you linked her to is incorrect. Her father was David McLane b. bet 1806-1811 d. 10-17-1885 Madison township, Columbiana Co., OH. Elizabeth G Adams McLane was b. Nov 1808 and d. 5-29-1891 Wellsville, Columbiana Co., OH.
I have not been able to discern their burial sites.
David's father was William McLane b. abt 1759 in Ireland and Eleanor Martin b. 1767 Albany, NY.
I suspect David and Elizabeth may be buried at the West Beaver Unit Presbyterian cemetery because William McLane is there.
Below is from the Henry R. Baldwin records:
West Beaver UP Cemetry, Madison township: Some inscriptions from this cemetery were also copied by Henry Baldwin in the early 1900s, and are found in his collection at the Youngstown Ohio Public Library, Vol. 6-7 p. 104+. Only those stones which are now missing are listed:
William McLane, b. 1759, d. June 27, 1828 age in his 69th year. Stone broken.
Thomas McLane, b. Aug 25, 1803, d. Aug 21, 1822 age 19 year

Henry R. Baldwin Records Vol 14, p. 22 - this is a hand written entry - Madison township Columbiana county Range 2 south of Elk Run west of St. Clair:
William McLane Sr. - remarks - c 1813 son of John Sr. R.S. PA - b. 1759 d. 1828; in right hand column which is entitled "where born" it states age 87 yrs, 7 mos in (?) year stone broken hard to read Washington Co., PA
Vol 40 p. 248 - this document is handwritten and sparse; It is listed under Madison township Co, OH; Cemeteries Yellow Creek on Sec 6 on John Smith's farm Towns and Villages West Point Glasgow - remarks column states - c. 1813 Washington Co., PA; William McLane b. 17-- d. 18-- right hand remarks state son of John
c. 34-37 p. 52 - handwritten; Wm McLane w. Eleanor Martin - left hand column remarks - "c. 1813 son of John R.S. c. PA" right hand remarks - from Washington Co., PA
Vol 22-23 p. 43 - handwritten; townships in Columbiana Co Madison township towns West Point, Glasgow - Wm McLane (man) c. 1813 Washington Co., PA son of John; (wife) Eleanor Martin
Vol 25-26 p. 171 - handwritten left column is entitled war record (it is blank for Wm McLane); under where from it states c 1813 Washington Co., PA; under remarks it states w Eleanor Martin

William, David, Daniel, David McLane were all justices of the peace in Columbiana Co., OH. The first three in Madison township, and then Daniel continued after moving to East Liverpool. After Daniel died, his son David served in this position. If you have access to there are MANY articles that relate to Daniel. He served in the civil war, 78th OH.

SC and Quinn Connections

I noticed your uploads to the SC genweb site. Thank you for uploading all of the census data. I read the message where you invite people to contact you for connections, which you listed. I have two separate issues I would like any information you may have. First, I found the actual handwritten SC census data somewhere, and cannot find where I stored the link. Specifically, I am currently looking for info about Edgar P Williams, (possible scoundrel and my 3x great grandfather), and how the Williamses of York District SC related to one another. A second connection is on your list- the Quinns. My Somekindof Great Grandfather Price, was Daniel Guinn Price. His Mom was Mary, I believe, and I have seen the Quinn/Guinn name used interchanged. I look forward to hearing from you and any knowledge you may have on these or other related issues.
