I've always been interested in cemetery art, and think FAG is a wonderful way to share photographs I've taken over the years. The concept of volunteers helping families in search of loved ones is one I can easily support.|
If I have created a memorial for a member of your immediate family and you would like me to transfer it to you, just send me a message. If the memorial is for one of my immediate family members. . .hello, cuz - we probably have a lot to talk about.
If I have photographed your family member's grave, and you want to use the photo for your own genealogy records or online family tree website, you DO NOT have to ask my permission. Just right click and copy the photo to your own computer. If you want a larger photo, please e-mail me, as I use a batch resizer to make photos smaller for posting on FAG, pursuant to the website's requirements. You may wish to take a screenshot of my profile page if you are using one of my photos in order to prove that you have my written permission to freely use the photo for non-commercial purposes.
There seems to be some controversy over "written permission" on photographs that appears in the FAG forums but not here on the main site that says you MUST have written permission to use a photo from the photographer. Please consider the foregoing paragraph in my bio your written permission to use my photos. You might want to copy and paste it into some document that you keep forever and pass down to your descendants...
Please note that I do not place the text of recent obits on records to avoid publishing the names of living people on the internet. Yes, I know if the obituary was searchable that their names are out there, but not by me...And if you want an obituary in the bio field of the record, when you send your SAC, please state in writing that you own the copyright to the obituary. If you do not hold the copyright to the obituary, I am happy to add your original biography to the record, as long as the names of living people are omitted.
Some family surnames I am researching include:
Ashmore, Balding, Bowden, Burris, Callaway, Chapin, Chronister, Crites, Duvall, Fairweather, Grooms, Herrington, Lensing, McBrayer, Meek, Parrish, Pettit, Shinn, Strickland, Toomey, Webb, Wharton, Williams, Wingfield and Yeager.
Surnames I research for other families include Barber, Buck, Clark, Engelmohr, Floyd, Gunn, Henrichs, Letterman, Massengale, Owen, Reed, Roach, Southern, Schmiedeskamp, Siebert, Taylor, and Turney.

|MEdwords||Request for Transfers|
You created listings for 4 of my paternal relatives (Nellie H Pratt Battle #54331443 - my great-grandmother, Earle Battle #5433110 - her husband and my great-grandfather, Mary Alice Battle #54331078 - my grandmother, and Jasper Battle #54331057 - my grandmother's brother and my great uncle). I would appreciate it if you would transfer those listings to me. I want to add biographical information for each of them.

|Leslie T||John Ennis Photo Request|
I noticed that you requested a photo for John Ennis, my great-grandfather. In 2000 we walked the cemetery with Leoda Ennis Williams. His grave is unmarked as is true for his immediate family. Grave location -- hoping I can describe this well enough, its been awhile! Turn into the parking, there is a fence with a walk-in gate. Their graves are in the first row and almost immediately right there -- five in row -- Leoda didn't know who was buried in which plot: John, Cora, Nettie, Jessie and unnamed daughter.

Alexander Meeks/Elizabeth Keys are my 3rd great grandparents. I saw the tintype photo of Thomas Jefferson Meek on "FindaGRave.com. Do you have any photos of Alexander, Elizabeth, or James, his son, you could send me?...I'm interested in any stories about the family too.
My grandmother was Rosa Valentine Meek, a daughter to James Kays Meek and Mary Gipson, son of James Meek (1802-1870) and Sarah Bolton.

Yes, I noticed that after I sent my earlier message. So then I guess you and I are related if indeed your grandmother or great-grandmother is Ida May. My great-grandmother Ollie died in her 30s when my grandmother was a little girl so I have no photos or information about her other than her death record and one census record when she lived with her older sister Annie. Do you have other photos of this family?
|Pamela Perrelli||Patrick McCauley|
Hello Dee. We may be related. Ida May was a sister of my great grandmother Ollie McCauley. I have no information or photos of Ollie. Is she shown in the photo you have posted on the Find a Grave site for Patrick McCauley? Do you know who the other people are in the photo? Please contact me at email@example.com
Thanks so much!!!
|lora kirkendoll||Sr Antonita|
That's her! Thank you so much! I vaguely remember the name St Scholastica, gramma just said she was nun in a hospital in Arkansas. I've submitted edits to her page to connect her back to the rest of the Hains. I had no where she was. This means a lot.
|lora kirkendoll||RE: family transfer|
with respect, i am not speaking about Sophia, but about her sister, Agnes. Agnes joined entered the convent in her early 20's and became Sr Antonita. she came to Sophia's funeral in 2000, but we rec'd a notice a few years later of her passing. i am trying to track down that notice, or at least piece together which order/hospital where she served, but i know it was in the area. i would really like to find her marker, and link her with her family.

hiya, Sophia Hain Imhauser #31797232 is my great grandmother, would you please transfer her to me? Also, tho there is no listing for her on their parent's page (and i know you do not manage those) there is another Hain sister that is buried (i think) in this area. her birth name was Agnes Hain and she entered the nunnery as a young woman. she died a few years after her sister. do you know how to find a nun? i know her name within the order was Antonita, to honor their father who died young after immigrating, but i dont know even how to begin as i am not catholic, nor in Arkansas.
