Bio

I have been visiting cemeteries since I was a young child and have had a major interest in my own families ancestry since I was 15 years old. I found this site by accident in June 2006 and am now trying to get my family branches filled in a bit better.

I live in the State of New Hampshire and miss my Husband , my Son, and my Father dearly.

I have been asked many times why I volunteer on FindAGrave, the best answer is - All should be remembered.

For transfers: use the EDIT tab on memorial, then "Suggest other correction", ask for a transfer (your relationship would be nice). If not my family or special to me, I'm happy to transfer.

I appreciate additional information or corrections on the memorials that I manage. I try to verify that it is correct before I honor a request. I may ask for sources if I cannot verify, if so, please don't be offended. My goal is to be as accurate as possible.

I have no known family buried in Clark County, Nevada.

Dear Ancestor,
Your tombstone stands among the rest
Neglected and alone
The name and date are chiseled out
On polished marble stone
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn

You did not know that I exist
You died and I was born
Yet each of us are cells of you
In flesh and blood and bone
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
Entirely not our own

Dear Ancestor,
The place you filled
One hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
Who would have loved you so
I wonder how you lived and loved
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot
And come to visit you."
