"You have to let your body sleep to let your soul live on" - Ozzy|
This is a fun and interesting hobby for me, as well as a great way to perform a meaningful community service to others. Someday I hope to have more free time to devote to it.
In fairness to those who may have closer ties to a memorial, please read the Transfer Guidelines prior to requesting a transfer. I will make exceptions if I am doing photo requests for you. You do not need to "manage" every memorial that is part of your family tree. Remember that this site is for locating burials, not building a tree. There are other websites that are more suitable for that purpose. I will be happy to make any links and corrections. PLEASE use the SAC feature ("Edit" tab). Please do not ask me to do links to any "Burial Unknown". Do your homework, first. FIND A GRAVE ADMINISTRATORS SUPPORT THIS POLICY. Please feel free to add photos where appropriate, as you do not need to manage the memorial to add photos.
Please be kind to Photo Volunteers! We are out there in all kinds of weather in a variety of conditions to find your friend's/relative's graves. We are not after a Pulitzer Prize and sometimes even our best effort may produce a not-so-good photo. If any of my photos are not to your liking, please leave me a message and I will try to get a better one. I will not be offended.
I will no longer makes Edits (other than links and dates) for people who do not have their messages turned on. If I have questions, and have no way to contact you, I will not make the Edits. I do not use e-mail; please don't ask. And PLEASE, if you ask me a question, have the decency to have your messages enabled. How do you expect a response?
NOTE: All photos that I have posted on Find a Grave ARE photos that I have taken myself, or, in the case of a few portrait photos, I received permission to use them and it is so stated in the photo's caption. Photos that I've posted of cemetery gates, signs, statues, buildings, points of interest, mausoleums, etc. that have been added to a cemetery's profile page were ALL taken by me and were submitted to the Admins of this site for posting if they chose to do so. Family photos are all photos that are in my possession, taken by me or immediate family members who are no longer living.
Since March 2013 I have taken over management of approximately 25,000 memorials in Inglewood Park Cemetery from Chris Mills. Please continue to send suggestions for corrections using the "Edit" tab and I will get to them as soon as I can.

Thank you for posting the photos of Edna and John's stones. Also for pointing out John's WW1service which I included in his bio.
I was surprised to to see Duncan was buried with Edna in USA and not with his first wife in Scotland. You are thorough indeed Hopefully the memorial owner will enter the correct burial place.
I do so appreciate your taking the time to sort this out.

Thank you for the fine photos of my cousins markers... The extra wide photo showing the neighboring markers is a neat touch... I appreciate the captions also... Cheers, Jon (Blue Ghost)...
|Cameron-Ashley Heath||RE: Woodlawn (Compton) photo requests.|
Very nicely done B.J. with the flowers, etc. and explanation. On your caption though it should read Julia died 1894 not 1984.Thank you very much for taking time out of your life to do this for others.

Dear B.J. Waters,
Thank you so much for trekkin' out to Woodlawn Memorial Park and takin' the grave marker photos of:
Burta Edsel (Orrison) VanOsdel #88377713
Francis William "Frank" VanOsdel #88377714
Your time, photos, and efforts are greatly appreciated!
|Mary Alequin||RE: JC Hudson and Fannie Reynolds|
Like always thank you for your help.
|chad ruiz||RE: Mildred Cunningham|
I'm not sure exactly what her name reads on her marker, it could say mildred bailey. I contacted the cemetery and she is located at 153 greenlawn div.A.
thank you again so much.
|Anne||RE: Inglewood Park Cemetery|
Thank you for pointing out the duplicate requests. The system is set up to prevent this. Something went haywire that day!
I have removed the duplicates.
