Bio Photo The process of finding graves and fulfilling requests is very rewarding to me. Too bad there is not a financial reward. I enjoy visiting a cemetery for the first time.

Michael Wolf - #51767330 Sr.
You'll see I found another daughter of Michael Jr.- Elizabeth Hagerty, edit accepted. However, there are a couple strange situations. On Sr.'s page, Sarah Bonnell [326639400]still shows as a dau., not G.dau., whereas on on all her sibs pages she is in the proper section. Also on Jr.'s, page as sister, not dau. There must be a glitch in the system. On her page, she still has Sr. as her father, instead of Jr.It must be due to the fact that this edit hasn't been accepted yet,but I don't know how she's placed correctly on her sibs' pages. Could it be that the page managers have made their own adjustments? Just thought I'd let you know what the status is.I'm sure it will all work out once that edit gets approved.

It's looking good - just went to the page and there is still one pending for daughter Sarah, though.Have had numerous distractions keeping me from searching for other family.

Thanks - realized afterwards of my msge. what is necessary.Should have known better! I see Catherine Stout is now linked, and Henry M. Then after Thos.,there's Sarah, who got me here on this quest.Haven't had any luck yet finding others.

Just looking at Michael [Jr]'s page again and noticed the links for his children are listed as sibs.On Sr.'s page his grandchildren are showing as children [ as sibs to Jr.] It's hard not to get tangled up on this.

Thanks - That's really a fantastic job you're doing with his history.A huge trove of facts!!I noticed yesterday there was a lot of info, and wasn't sure if I just hadn't slowed down to read everything the day I first found it,and now it looks like even more today.Re his German birth - I was going to send a comment yesterday as it made me think of a documentary I saw some time back about the huge contribution to the Revolutionary effort made by German immigrants,so many joined up.Plus the other day I learned of the very vital addition of the Bayonet to their fighting capabilities on the advice given by a former German soldier.I'm a Canadian,[GGGrandparents from Scotland had settled in Potter Co. in 1836,but my branch has been here since 1917],so not as 'up on' American history as some of you. There are so many soldier's on Michael Sr.'s daughter-in-law's side, great to see, grand old headstones.

Thanks for this. Sounds good. Re the other matter: Wonder if the children links not showing up on the other end was a glitch or delay - don't know a lot about that part of it, but just assumed it was automatic if done by the manager.

Hello again Storres - Just got my edit to change Michael the elder to his son link declined by the person who manages this son's page shown here in the subject line . Don't know what I should do. Any ideas? It might be better if you can send the msge. to the page manager. I meant to include in my earlier msge. to you that although the links for children are on the new page you created for the younger Michael, I was surprised they weren't updated on the children's pages. Hope the other edits I sent don't get turned down.Let me know if you think I should handle this. Thanks.

No, I really have nothing substantive re: Sarah Little. She is just shown as his spouse on someone's ancestry tree, no dates or parents. In the info you shared with me on his wife Margaret being thought to have died in 1825 - I noticed that is the year their youngest child [according to this tree] Thomas McMurray Wolf was born, so maybe a childbirth complication caused her demise. Then perhaps the family moved on to Clinton Co.All speculation, no documentation.I see the daughter Catherine's page you told me about has photos. That's always good to see.I saw her in that family tree, but with no dates or other info, just John Stout as spouse. Tried to find her but probably only in Pa. It was a while ago and something just led me back to it recently.Working on the rest of the children next.Yesterday, after getting your initial response, I went to the linked children's pages to change notes I'd left re the possible mistake about the father-grandfather mix -up and saw the link you corrected wasn't showing yet, so I submitted the correct one and didn't get the msge. that there was already an edit submitted when doing so,anyway it's in the process now.

Well, this is super. And so quickly. This is great for history and genealogy. Sort of thought it was going to be one of those mysteries slow or impossible to solve. Nice to see someone so keen on doing the work and getting it right!! Keep it up Storres - it's invaluable.
