The Genealogy Bug Bit me in 1995 and I have been obsessed ever since! I have my Mom to thank for that!|
I am currently a Volunteer Administrator for the BLAHUT,BLACHUT Message Boards at Ancestry.com/Rootsweb.com
Entering info on to FaG is very rewarding to me. If anyone has corrections to my memorials or would like to claim their relative just let me know, I'm happy to share.
I have not been very active in recent years as far as genealogy goes, but I do try to keep up my postings at FaG.

You have a photo attached to 18309319 and I am hoping you would also attach the second one to his spouse, Carrie. Thank you!

Susan Elizabeth Piper
NEW KENT - Susan Elizabeth Piper went to be with the Lord April 9, 2003. She was born February 10, 1974, in Hampton, Va., and lived most of her life in New Kent, Va. She and her husband Kent spent the last year in Bethel, Conn. In New Kent she was very active in extracurricular activities, playing soccer, basketball, and running track and performing in Forensics and drama activities. Later, she coached soccer and cheerleading. She always wore a smile and brought a smile to all who knew her. She will be sorely missed. Cherishing her memory are her parents, Charles and Martha Martin; her grandparents, Charles and Jean Martin and Cdr. Joseph Madeo Jr.; her brothers and their wives, Charlie and Denise Martin, and Chris and Aletia Martin; many aunts, uncles, cousins, a niece and a nephew, and many friends all over the world, whom she touched in her short but special Life. A Celebration of the Lives of Susan and Kent Piper will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 19, at Providence Forge Presbyterian Church, 9310 Townsend Road, Providence Forge, Va., with burial at Olivet Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Following the graveside service family and friends are invited to Wallace Manor, 3821 North Courthouse Road, to continue celebrating the lives of Susan and Kent Piper. Visitation will be from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 18, at Vincent Funeral Home on 11th street in West Point, Va. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Above and Beyond Scholarship Fund set up in Susanís and Kentís memory. Donations may be mailed to Citizens and Farmers Bank, P.O. Box 132, Quinton, VA 23141.

Just an interesting link for Lambert Huybertsen Brink and Hendrickje Cornelis/ Cornelisse
Ending "-sen"/"-son" is "son of" ; "-dotter" "daughter of" So if you are tracing early "Netherlands" immigrants heritage back by father's surname and it gets back this far, their surnames may change every generation based upon father's first name? I think this is correct. Any suggestions for how to find people with these morphing surnames? Thanks

He was my brother. He was born Feb 8, 1943 in Harlan, Harlan Co., Ky. His parents were Courtney Allen Combs and Gene Speaks Evans Combs who are buried in the Frankfort Cenetery in Frankfort Ky
Hi Kat, I see you've added a bunch of information for the Doeppe family, specifically in Oakwood cemetery. A John Elvin Doeppe (Sr.) changed the spelling from Doeppe to Deoppe, is there anyway you could find and post John Elvin &his wife Marie Deoppe's graves and/or their son, John Elvin (Jr.) &his wife Ruby E. Deoppe's graves?
I'm doing a family tree and that would help immensely.

I see you my 10th great grandmother's father's name as Jacob Swart. I am hoping you can shed some light on way her maiden name is listed as Jacobs, instead of Swart. I am guessing you do not know Jacomyntje's mother's name.
Any information you can give me will be greatly appreciated.

Catherines 1st husband was John Dietterick and second was Jacob Bittenbender. She is buried next to her 1st husband. I do not think this Catherine was married to a Zeiser.
