We brushed the stone and took a photo. I had not read beforehand that you wanted a rubbing--sorry. Feel free to ask for another photo by someone else, since we will not be back in the Abingdon area for awhile, or I would do that for you.

Grave of Dryden McClintock
I live in Erie, PA and am working on a volume of grave locations for veterans of the Mexican War. I would like your permission to use the picture you posted of Dryden McClintock's grave in this compilation. I will cite you as the source, but I need your name. My e-mail address is

I'm trying to verify that the Dryden from PA is the same one who ended up in Idaho. Hopefully, it is!

Thank you.

You have posted a burial for David Clinton Davis in The Victor Sunnyside Cemetery in Colorado. However I was informed that there is no record confirming this burial. Do you have some evidence of this burial ?
Hope to hear from you soon.
Thanks in advance.

John Fannon

You have listed John Fannon (1824-1890) on Find A Grave as being buried in the Rolla Cemetery. However, he is NOT listed as being in the cemetery according to the Phelps Co. Genealogical Society master listing in their book, which is suppose to be a copy of the official cemetery records.

Are you sure he is buried in the Rolla Cemetery? Do you know the plot number or other information on him?

Someone has requested for me to take a picture of his gravestone, but I can not find a location for him!

Sincerely, Ed Hale

Emma L.
For years I have been searching for any history on an'Emma Little' whose maiden name was King...If this would be a match, I am a great grandson of her sister Nancy.

The one I have been looking for lived near Marblemount in 1948.

She may have had a daughter named Ruth.

Any chance of help here. If so Please reply.
