Catherine Phelps
Catherine was likely the daughter of Rhoda Eno Phelps, wife of Daniel Phelps and daughter of Johathan and Mary Hart Eno of Simsbury. Daniel's stone is in the Simsbury Cemetery. Likelihood is that after he died she lived with her son Daniel Pliny Phelps and was buried by her children in the cemetery at Avon.

LT Eldad Woodruff
Memorial 29226224.

I am working on a document of all those in my genealogy who have served in the Armed Forces.
It is noted that Eldad was a Lieutenant at some point in his life. Obviously he was in a militia.
Might you have any data on his connection with the militia? Thanks Ross

Dear Sir / Madam

I have been searching the internet for many years now trying to trace Nicolai (Nicolaj) Petersen, who was wounded and "lost" at the end of WWII. Do you have ANY information on this grave / tombstone? How is it known that this is a "Petersen" buried in this grave? which role did Avon play during and at the end of WWII?

kind regards
