I have a greas love for genealogy and have been researching since I was in seventh grade. My dad and grandparents were great story tellers and left me with a rich history of our family. My grandparents were of Germam, English, Swedish, Danish and French Canadian orgin. The German ancestoirs arrived in this country in 1844. The English line can be traced to William White of the Mayflower crossing and to Kent, England. I married a full-blooded Irishman with a Polish name as he was adopted. I guess that makes my children, grandchildren and great-grandchild of "Heinz 57" orgin or "Dukes mixture", as my parents would say.|
I am now a widow (2002), at a much younger age than I would have liked, but life goes on. My Husband and I were married 39 1/2 years and we had a son and a daughter and four grandaughters. He never had a chance to meet our two grandsons, the youngest granddaughter, or his two great-grand daughters.
We are a Navy family. My husband served five years, I served 22y 4m and my son 10yrs. We are all proud of our service to this great country.
I graduated from Henderson County Jr. College, attended Tyler Jr. College and graduated with a Degree in Nursing and in Science from the Univeristy of Texas.
I love genealogy, photography and traveling. I belong to a single group; LoW's, Loaners on Wheels, which affords me a chance to do all my hobbies and the companinship of other singles.
The photgraphs on the Chandler Memorial Cemetery we taken by myself and Doug Crabtree. This project was one of love for the families buried there and a passion to preserve the past. Doug and I both in live Chandler and are members of the East Texas Genealogical Society.
I am researching the following families.
Bischoff/Bishop -m- Wessling; Brooks -m- Sturtevant; Nelson -m- Jasperson; Cronk -m- Persian; Grochowski -m- Jaroszewska; Bolik/Ball -m- Wisniewska; Pope -m- Kyser; Wright -m- Scarbrough; Mitchell -m- Riner; Smith -m- Spivey; Farrier -m- Gowell.

Frankie, I have a bio for Dr. Belcher; if you wish to transfer his memorial # 35660830 to me I will add it. My # is 47181024; if you prefer I will send the bio as an edit.
Thank you, Wayne
Another contributor left an impolite public message for me and left your name and contact that I responded to before realizing that it was not you who had sent the message but someone else attempting to create trouble. My apology to you for allowing myself to be fooled in this way.

Thank you for the public message. I am happy to return the favor. I made a memorial in good faith for a person for whom I had on good authority was deceased. Can you say the same in this case? I would never create a duplicate memorial intentionally nor would I ever carelessly and thoughtlessly create a death memorial for a living person that would alarm friends and relatives of said person.

Thank you Frankie; yes that is sad and I wonder who had to make the arrangements etc.
Thanks you so much for the transfer. You know there is never enough time work on our history with work and stuff, but it is a love from heart that's for sure..

Frankie: I have a copy of a June 25, 1920 Frankston Citizen Newspaper that contains a lengthy obit for Mahalia Hastletine Myers Dickerson. I notice on nthe findagrave site in the Poynor Cemetery, Henderson Co., Texas you have her middle name as Haley. Is this a short version of Hastletine or a nickname or was her middle name really Haley. Joe Lilly

Thank you so much for adding my nephews head stone to Find A Grave! His name is Collin Bryan Free. He was 11 when he passed away and his grave is so far from where we are. We do visit but this brings it closer to home. Thank you so much!
